Only got going roughly 2 months back, and it's been plenty of testing things out. Right now I'm moving off Reta onto tirz, plus bpc and lipo C in the mix. Sitting at roughly 270lb at the moment. My goal is to hit that middle ground where I'm not overeating in a single sitting but also not skipping food entirely. Either extreme leaves me with acid reflux and burping

Constipation hit me not long ago too. 10/10 would not suggest letting yourself get backed up! That was awful. My plan to fight it is fiber, plus plenty of water and electrolytes. That said, I have to pause Reta for roughly a month because of surgery, so I've been lowering my dose little by little.

Reta has given me just 1 side effect: constipation. I also began a daily probiotic and increased my fiber intake. Just letting you know, that really does make a difference.

At night the acid is unbearable—it's driving me crazy!!!!

Are you all also training and keeping your nutrition reasonably in check?

High fiber tortillas from Glp 1 carb balance appear to aid my digestion

welcome!! What led you to switch from Reta over to Tirz?
I began Reta at an elevated dose and increased it too fast. On top of that, the constipation. Tirz gives me better bowel movements than Reta did.

After I pin RETA, I spend the 1st couple of days constipated, though it eases up once I use SS and Miralx.

What’s the dosage you’re using? From what I know, you’re supposed to stay at the same dose for 4 weeks, right? The way I see it, your body needs time to get used to it and the half-life has to stay stable.

If I’ve got that wrong, someone please set me straight.

Right - resistance bands or light weights, plus swimming or walking...

Right - vegetables and lean meats, cutting out pasta, bread, rice and milk (yogurt is the exception)

I've been considering almond- or soy-based yogurts to test whether those made any difference.

Yeah I don't know for certain, but as I mentioned, I'm still figuring things out. I followed a suggestion from my brother's gym buddy and began at too high a dose, then worked my way up—but after reading more, I realize I ought to have titrated more gradually.

Here's the eating plan I'm attempting to follow. Fatty foods almost never appeal to me, though every so often noodles are tempting. Bread and milk I avoid on my own. Except when milk goes into a shake as a dessert

Yeah, I did 4 weeks at 1mg, then bumped it up to 2mb this past Friday.

So for me, I began on 3mg, and that brought on the headache, nausea, constipation, plus every other side effect.

Absolutely!!! If I step into a place where something's frying, the smell hits me right away and I have to leave — it turns my stomach immediately.

For maintenance over the long haul, tirz is probably the stronger pick, since extended glycogen depletion — something Reta may bring about — has been linked to harmful health outcomes

What does ss mean? A buddy of mine is dealing with severe constipation.

reta hasn't caused me any constipation, which is fortunate. I wanted to drop 20 pounds and I've just reached that milestone after 3 months, so now I'll begin lowering my dose. That weight wouldn't have come off without it.

My training schedule is 5 days per week, using a push, pull, legs, upper, lower split. Reta was started at 1 mg, and I increased by 1 mg weekly until hitting 5 mg. Roughly 8/9 weeks in, and 30 lbs are gone. Right now I'm tapering down so I can stop before a surgery, then I'll go back up afterward. There are another 40 lbs I want to drop, after which I plan a low weekly maintenance dose and to add CJC/IPA BLEND in pursuit of getting shredded.
