How Long After Pinning Do You Feel Symptoms or Results?

Hi!

I'm new to this. A few weeks back I began Reta at 0.5mg, then moved to 1mg.

Since Tirz is supposedly better—or more strongly—at curbing food and alcohol cravings (alcohol being my biggest issue), I chose to stack it with Reta.

Yesterday morning I pinned 2.5mg of Tirz (I know, I should have begun lower—that was a dumb move on my part), and throughout the day I felt little. Possibly slight appetite suppression, but nothing major, and I still drank as usual, unfortunately.

Today, though... I have absolutely no interest in food or drinking. There's even some nausea. Looking at food gives me an "uggg..." feeling inside.

This matches what another forum user told me—that Tirz hits him hardest on the second day after pinning.

So my question is... does any data exist on when these peps reach peak effects after pinning?

Personal stories are welcome too! But I'm curious whether there's measured data from trials, etc.

Thanks a lot!

Tirzepatide: roughly 24h before I notice effects and symptoms.

Reta: symptoms show up for me at 48-72h, but effects take 2 weeks.

In my own experience, it's either pinning 1x every 7 days.

Or splitting it into a 3 day then 4 day cycle for a smoother ride.

For example, Sunday, Wednesday.

Figure out what works best for you or your rabbit.

For me, reta on its own removed my alcohol cravings. It took roughly a week before I realized the urge to drink had disappeared.
Sadly, that hasn't been my experience (though perhaps 1mg is simply too low a dose). If you're willing to share, what Reta dose produced those effects for you?

Thanks!

I'm in the same boat. For me, that effect seemed to start around the 2 mg / week dose.

For me, the change showed up once I reached 2 mg weekly. I've since dropped my dose to 1.75 mg weekly, hoping to get the side effects (constipation and a too-full stomach) under better control, and my lack of interest in alcohol hasn't gone away.

That's encouraging to read!

Returning to the main question: is there any known data on the "curve" of effects coming from the Tirz/Reta trials, or from other studies?

Thanks, everyone!

It varies from person to person. For my wife and me, appetite suppression showed up by dinner the following evening. Our starting dose was 2mg Reta. More recently my wife added 2.5mg of Tirz on Tuesdays plus 10mg Reta on Fridays, and that combination is really working.

Your starting dose was the standard one, and there's nothing wrong with that. A few people begin at a lower amount, but I wouldn't have and I didn't.

For me, Tirzepatide becomes noticeable 6 hours post-injection, and by 24 hours it's at full effect.

My approach would have been to raise the Reta to a medical dose, or simply begin with Tirzepatide, before introducing anything else. Bring one peptide up to a meaningful amount first, then consider adding other variables.

After you settle on a dose of either peptide, hold it for 4 weeks and then assess. There's no reason to hurry. You have to get the level of medicine in your system stable before any proper adjustment is possible.

Hi!

I'm a newbie. I started with 0.5mg and then 1mg of Reta a few weeks ago.

I decided to stack it with Tirz as it supposedly handles food and alcohol cravings (the latter being my main problem) better or more intensely than Reta.

I pinned 2.5mg of Tirz yesterday morning (should have started lower, but I'm that dumb), and didn't notice much through the day. Maybe some hunger supression but not much and still drank as usual unfortunately.

But, today... I have ZERO desire for food or drinking. Even a bit of nausea. I see food and I feel a "uggg..." inside of me.

This aligns with what I talked with another user of the forum who told me he feels the effects of Tirz the most the second day after pinning.

So my question is... Is there any data on when these peps achieve their maximum effects after pinning?

Personal experiences are also welcome! But I wonder if there's any measured data from the trials, etc.

Thanks a lot!

I responded quickly, though I also stuck to a strict routine.

During my first 4 weeks
