Hello everyone,
Checking in from MN. I’m finally starting my Tirz journey (2.5mg) after a two-year internal battle.
Back in 2024, I walked away from a prescription thinking I could white-knuckle it alone. I actually had great success with intermittent fasting dropping from 350# down to 270# but life happened. Stress led back to old habits, and I’ve climbed back up to 320#. I took my first dose yesterday and the "food noise" vanishing is honestly spooky. Already learned my lesson w/ red meat (the stomach "pins and needles" are no joke).
I’m here to learn, but I’m also here to push the envelope. I’ve been fascinated by the Reta research and am strongly considering introducing a .5mg "stack" to my Tirz regimen early on. I know the standard advice is wait a plateau, but curious if anyone here thinks there's an advantage to being proactive.
I’m looking forward to learning from others experience. Glad to be here and finally starting this chapter.
