Searched around and didn't find anything, but has anyone looked into R taken every day versus its half-life? From what I can tell, at 2mg per week the total amount in your body would sit near 4mg at the next injection and then taper down across the week. The published trials used big doses of 4, 8, and 12mg, so the typical carryover ends up about 30% more than what was actually dosed. I'm not sure how much glucagon activity you get if you stay at 2mg, especially after a video someone shared arguing the best dose is 4mg, which is the point where glucagon is said to kick in.

The half-life sits at 6 days, naturally, and there are various peptide tracker tools online that let you chart how much is in your body for whatever dose and schedule you pick. That said, as far as I know, no clinical trial has tested anything except a weekly schedule.

Regarding glucagon "activation" only kicking in past some threshold dose, I've come across contradictory claims, and frankly I'd expect it to scale with dose just like nearly everything else does. At 4mg and above it clearly does something, given how reta beat (fairly) matched tirz and sema doses on weight loss in the trials, but I haven't seen any data comparing, say, 2mg reta against 2.5mg tirz.

Anecdotal study population of 1 person: I've noticed an unexplained gap between my calorie tracking and my weight loss, equal to an extra 100-200 calories burned daily, and that gap was there even below 4mg. I had already been tracking calories and had lost 40 pounds before I began reta, and the shift from 1.4-1.5 pounds per week lost without reta to 1.7-1.9 pounds per week lost on reta stands out, with the same calories and the same activity. Theoretically it could be even bigger, since I'm now down 65+ pounds from where I started, so you'd figure my TDEE dropping would have cancelled that out. I'm not convinced it's only the metabolic boost from reta, maybe something else is also cushioning your metabolism somewhat as you lose weight, but anyway.

Yes, glp1plotter.com is what I'd suggest

As already noted, the half-life comes out to 5-6 days. A number of people report serious hunger creeping in around day 6-7, right before the next weekly injection. To sidestep that, some choose to pin every 6 days instead. My own routine has always been every 7 days, and earlier on I did feel hunger during day 6-7. These days that sensation has completely disappeared, though I should mention I'm now at 10mg.

Appreciate the replies. Each time I've added 1 unit (with a 15mg/ml solution), and by week 4 I'm sitting at about 2.25mg. The scale has been dropping roughly 3lb weekly, though I'm also lifting and running. Around day 6 I did notice appetite creeping up, yet the food noise stayed away. Perhaps I simply respond strongly to the glp1 effect, because on injection day I struggle to get much down at all.
