Hey everyone

I've noticed some red rashes or dots appearing on my torso. Currently I'm taking TRT, Reta, and HGH. I began GHKCU about 4 weeks ago. Over the past two to three days, red dots or tiny rash bumps have shown up on my torso. At first I figured it might be a sunburn rash, but that's not the case. Then I considered bed bugs, since I'm staying in a rental beach house. However, I share the bed with my wife and she has no symptoms. Also, she says bedbug bites tend to follow a specific pattern, so I doubt that's it. My rash gets extremely itchy, then disappears completely for a few hours, and then returns. It fluctuates between very itchy and mildly itchy. I suspect it could be the GHK, and I'm curious if anyone else has had a similar experience? There's no rash on my face or anywhere else. I inject 1.75mg daily. Might the peptide be the culprit?

4 weeks with no problems? That likely isn't what's causing it, unless this is an allergic reaction that showed up late. A bit of hydrocortisone cream is what I'd use to clear it up. Also, since I cycle GHK-Cu myself, maybe you should pause it for a little while.

Is it showing up at your GHK-Cu injection sites? A stinging/itchy ISR is a well-known side effect of GHK-Cu. It also doesn't necessarily appear immediately, and it can come and go from one day to the next. I've used GHK-Cu for close to a year and I still get it every now and then.

A few weeks back this began for me. Little dark red dots scattered around, and then last week I woke up to find my entire back looking the same way.

Patches covering my whole torso 🤔

So I went to the doctors, and he told me it wasn't contagious, but said to use steroid cream for a week.

Once I halted my pep stack, sure enough it cleared up.

I couldn't decide whether to point the finger at my G or Tess.

Honestly though, I don't want to quit either one 🤣

Yeah, I've got the same thing going on. Haha, I might stop using the GHK for a bit and check whether that makes a difference.

Are the dots showing up where you inject?
Not at the injection site, no. My injections go into my glutes.
That seems really odd. Given that the injection site itself is unaffected, could this be caused by something other than the peptides?

Are you running your peptides through a filter?

Assuming you rent your place, one possibility that comes to mind is a reaction to whatever detergent gets used on the bedding, or something along those lines. If that were the case, you might notice it flaring up after time in bed, easing off over the next few hours once that contact is no longer fresh, and then starting over again in the same pattern. Just tossing ideas around…

No, I don't use a filter. That said, it's very possible the house is the culprit. Only thing is, I'm not usually someone who deals with allergies.

This crossed my mind as well - contact dermatitis triggered by detergent lingering on towels, bedding, or perhaps something within the upholstery.

simple fix, man. shoot the ghk cu into your wifey (for love of the game) and check whether a rash shows up on her 😭

Hahaha, she's using it too and hasn't had any problems.

As a person who used to break out in hives every day, this sounds like hives to me. Hives have a tendency to shift location, showing up and then fading away.

Quick update, since I figure others here have dealt with hives and other skin flare-ups from peptides too. It has now been about 10 days since I cut GHK, NAD and HGH out of my daily stack entirely. These days I'm only running Reta and test. The skin, though, is getting better. I still take antihistamines every day, and I keep putting hydrocortisone ointment on the areas that are affected. The hives or red patches are fading. There's less redness now. Honestly it looks more brownish. The itching has eased too. I went to the clinic that supplied my Reta and GHK, and my doctor is confident I overdid my peptides. I was doing 2mg GHK every day. HGH 5 times per week, plus 100mg NAD daily. Like you, they told me to stay off everything until my skin is fully better, then bring peptides back in slowly. One product at a time, so I don't overdose. My guy's view is that I took too much GHK and NAD, particularly both at once. Add the sunburn from my vacation on top, and my skin ended up having an allergic reaction. The good news is that things are improving pretty quickly now and I feel far less frustrated. Just my personal feedback for anyone in the same situation as me.

A year or so back, when I came down with a strange rash, I burned far too many hours digging into drug reactions.

What I'd advise is staying open to all the possibilities behind it. When exactly you began the peptides doesn't carry much weight — the majority of drug reactions show up anywhere from days to months after the drug or peptide is started, so having been on it for roughly a year makes it a far less probable culprit. It could also have nothing to do with the peptides at all; inflammatory rashes have thousands of potential triggers. Still, if it continues improving, then the issue is resolved.

That said, I find it quite unlikely that a peptide capable of causing a generalised rash would leave you with no injection site reaction whatsoever. If the shot went intramuscular, though, chances are it would be difficult to spot, so should you want to test them and determine whether one is responsible, a small dose injected subcutaneously could produce a reaction — which would make it fairly probable that it's the cause. It isn't foolproof, since injection site reactions are common even without any other skin rash response, but it's likely the best approach for getting a sense of things.

Should you notice 3 bumps in a line along a vein… that points to bed bugs. A lot of individuals show no reaction to the anticoagulant bed bugs inject, or a reaction may only appear after a considerable delay.
