GHK-CU no longer stings after 8 weeks?

My routine is 2mg for 5 days, then 2 days off. Apart from mild histamine reactions where I inject—slight itching—nothing has gone wrong. One time, though, I messed up by using the same spot because I couldn't recall my last injection location, and that left me with a noticeable small bruise at the site.

I mean that sometimes, upon injection, there's a very minor bump that forms and stays there for about 24 hours, and then after 24 hours is completely gone. And whenever I do it on the glutes, that rarely happens.

Actually, what you said here perfectly sums up what I kind of mean by it being painful.

And by the way, isn't 3.3 mg daily a bit much? I pin daily at 1.33 mg daily. And I just started about a week ago and I have already noticed an insane change in my skin quality. It looks very fresh and clean. I can't wait until I get the hair benefits, but apparently that takes about a few weeks for to kick in, I think, based on what I've read.

Each day I inject 2mg 🙂

Once I'd done my research, SS-31 was the first one I picked. The reason is that SS-31 repairs the mitochondria. It patches up holes in the Electron Transport Chains and stops new ones from forming. That way I'll end up with higher ATP output, so more energy and less oxidative stress.

MOT-C works as a metabolic regulator. That means it supports efficient energy production along with the generation of new mitochondria.

In my case - I'm in my 40ies - with a stressful, unhealthy lifestyle and a high weight, fixing the electron leak had to come first.

My stomach has almost no fat left on it, and these days it's even trickier to grab enough fat anywhere to inject into, so I've switched to pinning everything only in my butt, since there's more fat there compared to my stomach.

Alright, that clears things up.

Quick update as well! I gave MOTSC a shot over the weekend, and the difference is huge! I swallow a 200 milligram caffeine pill just before hitting the gym, and on Saturday I combined that caffeine pill with a MOTSC injection right before training. Honestly, it felt like I was on crack. Energy like I have never experienced before. My strength was way up, and it seemed like I could keep going indefinitely. I got through 2 hours of lifting, then added 1 hour of cardio afterward. It was as if my energy had no limit. I am not certain whether my mitochondria actually need repair, since I believe mine are already in great shape. So taking MOTSC just gave me extra fuel. It is still very early to judge, given that I am only 3 days into MOTSC at this point, but I believe I am seeing body recomposition happen really quickly. I was already well into my calorie deficit, yet the fat loss has become even more noticeable.

Great to hear that. My Mots-C arrived today after I ordered it. Even so, I plan to hold off until my SS-31 run is finished. I'm at least a few months in by now. Adding one more peptide to the mix... honestly, I feel like a pin cushion at this point.

For me, SS-31 seems to have been the right pick. I stack it with 5-Amino-1MQ. Yesterday I took one of my dogs for a long walk. My house sits on a hill. After 1h of walking, including the climb up the hill at 30°C, I would normally shower and then head to bed, or at least relax. Yesterday was different. I showered and then sat down at my desk to keep working for another 3,5 hours. That felt amazing!

Haha, the pin cushion remark — I get it. There are more peptides I'd like to test, but my current approach is to address and resolve each factor individually. Pinning a bunch of things simultaneously is definitely not something I want, since then I'd have no clue what's happening. So at the moment I'm doing one at a time, watching how it goes for a few weeks, and after that I'll introduce another peptide and track what happens.

Just wait — the moment you do your first MOTSC shot, mentally and physically you're going to feel great. Your mood simply lifts, and it isn't a stimulant like caffeine. More at the beginning, you get a lot of energy, and then it will still be there, it'll come down, but sustained energy levels will stay very high. And that's really ideal given what I'm currently doing: my body fat percentage is super low and I'm only taking in 1500 calories a day. Each week, I inject reta and cagri. So without the weight loss drugs and eating 1,500 daily, I know for a fact I'd be a total zombie — and I know that because I've been through this before, when previously I had a super low body fat percentage and was eating 1,500 daily and going to the gym daily, all on willpower, but it wasn't sustainable at all back then because I'd be hungry 24/7, thinking about food 24/7, low energy 24/7, and sleeping horribly. Now, though, I've basically solved all of that: with reta and cagri, food, hunger, and appetite aren't a problem, and since I'm barely eating, I did hit some energy crashes, but DSIP (which gets me that deep delta sleep) and MOTSC took care of that.

Did SS31 give you more energy overall, or was it more like a mood lift? maybe I should try that too.

SS-31 works by boosting ATP output, since it makes that whole process run more efficiently. Brain fog benefits show up too. Honestly, yesterday is a total mystery to me—I had been injecting 5-Amino-1MQ for a good while, yet SS-31 only entered the picture 7 days ago. The 5-Amino-1MQ had given me some noticeable effects earlier, but stacking SS-31 on top made the whole thing feel incredible.

Let me back up and explain my situation. This happened several years in the past. Nothing special about the day—just the usual grind, working from morning until evening. Partway through, hunger hit, so I stopped at the supermarket and headed to the deli counter. While I waited, all was normal; the employee was helping other people. Then my turn arrived, and the vibe shifted. I asked for sausages, and as he handled my order, his hands trembled—like I was behind him holding a gun. It felt as though I carried some dark aura.

Fast forward to yesterday: during my walk, I chatted up some girls—a thing I basically never used to do. The experience was genuinely enjoyable and memorable. I hadn't felt that way in years.

Perhaps the two of them work together in some synergistic way, since each appears to boost metabolism and help with ATP production. I'll put those 2 on my list of peptides to try down the road.

Anyone else notice the burn from GHK fading the longer they keep injecting? I'm 8 weeks in and there's no sting anymore. Not sure whether that points to a problem with my supplier or if I've simply adapted to it! 😉
If that happened, it would be incredible!!! I mixed mine using 10ml of bac water, and since I'm a total wimp 💀💀 I make sure to ice the spot before every shot. Hopefully, though, I'll end up with that same baby soft skin. 😇

On a serious note, though—how come every pep I'm interested in has to be spicy? LOL. Jesus take the wheel.

I began GHK-CU roughly a week back, and I have never felt any stinging sensation at all. My injection site is the upper glute area. I did observe that pinning in other spots hurts a bit more than the glutes, for whatever reason.
The very first GHKCU shot I gave myself went into my glute. There was no sting as it went in, but that spot burned through the entire night, and afterward it stayed sore for days 😭😭😭 These days I move the injection around my belly, and cooling the spot with ice for a few min beforehand has made it great. Twice I got a bruise on my upper abdomen, so I avoid that area now.

Same thing happened to me, using the same vial. A tip I got was to clean the needle tip with an alcohol swab prior to injecting, which seemed to help as well. Even so, I'd get a mildly sore spot now and then. That said, my skin does appear a bit firmer and more youthful overall 😊

For me it varies. Occasionally it looks like a bruise showed up from Friday's injection, but all the injections I did afterward caused no issue at all. As for the burning sensation, increase the number of bac units in your injection.

When the needle goes in poorly or the shot isn't placed right, that's when I feel the most soreness — roughly 16 hours of it, then I'm fine. By the following day, a full 24 hours afterward, everything feels normal with no issues at all. It's possible the problem is your technique — maybe you're inserting at an angle. With every peptide I use, I go straight into the fat, keeping the needle perpendicular with no tilt. In fast, push the plunger to deliver the fluid, out fast. I don't twist or shift it. Once it's inside you, wiggling is the last thing you want, since that tears more tissue and triggers inflammation.

Yeah, that could definitely be it. Syringes are what I use, and the first time I tried injecting into my glute on my own it was definitely harder. I'm looking into pens now, so once I've had one for a while I may try again — it should make that awkward angle easier. I also push the injection in really slowly to cut down on the burn.

Injecting into your thighs is one option worth trying. When I did it once, it felt quite simple since there's no awkward twisting involved. That said, I run into the same problem as before: my quads don't have much fat, so everything ends up going into my glutes. And honestly, why bother with pens at all? The whole idea is to make injecting simpler, right? I get a 120-count box of insulin syringes on Amazon, and one box lasts me ages, so pens have never crossed my mind.

From what I’ve come across, plenty of folks mention that using a pen for daily peptides is simply easier, there’s less waste since all you swap out is the tiny needle tip, and certain harsh peptides go in more comfortably that way? The convenience part definitely makes sense to me. My thighs don’t have much fat either, so tirz is the only thing I’ve injected there, and that week it seemed to hit me weaker than usual 😭

Alright, that's a curious point. Pens might be worth checking out for me.

It's possible the weaker effects came from going intramuscular instead of into subcutaneous fat.
