GHK-CU no longer stings after 8 weeks?

Helpful information, since GHK is the one I plan to start using next, following my first month on Reta.

Anyone else notice the burn from GHK fading the longer they keep injecting? I'm 8 weeks in and there's no sting anymore. Not sure whether that points to a problem with my supplier or if I've simply adapted to it! 😉

My wife is on it too. She told me the burning stopped once she got to her 3rd shot. That first one, though, had her uncomfortable for hours afterward.

Every day I take 3.3mg via injection, and there's still a burning sensation. It's mild, yet I can feel it.
Starting at 1mg per day is what I plan to do, then I'll assess how it works out before going further.

My GHK-Cu comes in a 100ml vial, and I use 1ml syringes. At 3.3mg, that works out to 0,1ml, which is 10U. From what I've looked into, that's on the higher end, though it still falls within "normal" range. My plan is to run it for a month. With 3ml BAC added to the 100ml vial, it should last roughly that long.

I began GHK-CU roughly a week back, and I have never felt any stinging sensation at all. My injection site is the upper glute area. I did observe that pinning in other spots hurts a bit more than the glutes, for whatever reason.

My very first pin went into the belly, and the sting stuck around for hours and was intense. After that I added more BAC water to dilute it, and these days I pin the upper glute area. Since I started diluting it, the sting only shows up occasionally and it's mild.

That's genuinely good to know -- thanks a lot!

What does painful mean to you? Here's how I'd put it. While the injection is happening, I notice nothing at all. There's no sting, no pain. The odd part comes afterward: if anything brushes against the spot I injected, it registers as off, like something there isn't right.

In the beginning, it was like a severe bee sting — a deep ache that lasted for hours — but these days, when I inject, there's no pain whatsoever.

What I'm getting at is that every so often a really small bump shows up right after I inject, sits there for roughly 24 hours, then vanishes completely once those 24 hours pass. When I use the glutes, though, that almost never occurs.

Honestly, your description here captures exactly what I was trying to get at when I called it painful.

Also, isn't 3.3 mg a day on the high side? My own daily pin is 1.33 mg. I only began around a week ago, and my skin quality has already shifted in a way that seems crazy -- it looks really fresh and clean. I'm eager for the hair effects to show up, but from what I've read, I believe those take a few weeks before they kick in.

Do you inject into one location every day, or do you rotate sites from time to time? Right now I'm doing 2 shots per day, using GHK-CU along with DSIP. Soon it will become 3 shots per day, since I'm about to introduce MOTSC. Given how many subcutaneous injections I'm doing so often, I prefer to rotate the spots, so that a single area isn't receiving every injection and ending up irritated.

And by the way, isn't 3.3 mg daily a bit much? I pin daily at 1.33 mg daily. And I just started about a week ago and I have already noticed an insane change in my skin quality. It looks very fresh and clean.

1mg only puts you slightly over maintenance. 3mg, on the other hand, gives you complete rebuilding and firming of the tissue.

Prior to starting GLP1 (Reta), I had already dropped roughly 10-15kg. At my breasts specifically, I noticed the skin got better. It became firmer.

On top of that, I'm after the best outcome in as little time as possible. So my plan is roughly 30 days using GHK-Cu, followed by 4 weeks off, letting the liver clear the copper.

Because with 1mg you get just a little bit above maintinance level. And with 3mg you get a full reconstruction and tightening of the tissue.

Before my GLP1 (Reta) journey, I already lost about 10-15kg. And at least at my breast I felt that the skin improved. It got tighter.

Also I want the best results in the shortest amount of time. So the idea is to be about 30 days on GHK-Cu and then 4 weeks off, so the liver can de-tox the copper.

My skin doesn't feel any tighter, which is likely down to the fact that I'm already pretty lean. What has stood out, though, is how incredibly clear my skin has become. It has never looked this clear or this healthy. Raising my dose might be necessary for the reconstruction and tightening to show up, but honestly neither is something I need, since my low body fat (9%) already gives me that.

On top of that, I'm not sure chasing the fastest possible results is wise. You're cycling it, as I understand. My approach is a maintenance dose taken for life, the same way I handle reta, cagri, ghkcu, and dsip, with motsc about to be added. In my view, the best way to run peptides in general is to find the lowest dose that still works, keeps delivering what you want, and doesn't trigger side effects. Every peptide I take is at a very low dose, yet the effects I get are still striking and obvious.

right, at 8% body fat your baseline differs from mine. That's the reason I figured a more thorough overhaul cycle was necessary for me. Right now I'm overhauling my whole way of living. On one side that feels fantastic. On the other, there's still plenty of ground left to cover.

At the moment I'm on quite a few things.

Reta

GHK-Cu

5-Aminu-1MQ for boosting metabolism

SS-31 for repairing mitochondrial issues

Plus Semax. Semax changed everything for me. It helps me lock onto a single task. It also keeps cortisol in check. Anxiety is gone. No more lying in bed running through every "what if" and imagining the worst case. Since starting Semax, I haven't needed any caffeine, tea or energy drinks.

Are you injecting into the glute, or sub q?

Where I inject my GHK-CU changes things for me.

Injecting quite low, right beneath the belly-button, gives me zero problems. But if the shot goes into my legs, or sits higher up on my stomach, then the following day I will definitely notice it.

Still, has anyone here dealt with skin that becomes overly sensitive? After roughly a few weeks of taking 2mg GHK-CU every day, the skin on my arms and legs started reacting to touch, and even my clothes began to bother me.

When I stop injecting for 2-3 days, that feeling fades.

Honestly, I can't tell whether that points to something positive or something negative?

yeah, with 8% body fat, you have another starting point than me. That's why I felt like I needed a deeper renovation cycle. Currently I'm changing my entire lifestyle. And it feels great on one hand. But on the other hand I still have to go a long way.

That's great to hear. Switching up your lifestyle is certainly no easy feat, though it becomes very worthwhile once you figure out what suits you and the right dosage range.

And currently I'm taking a lot.

A lot of folks mention that, saying SS31 should be run ahead of MOTSC, yet others go with MOTSC first followed by SS31? what sets them apart? I'm aware both are connected to the mitochrondria somehow. and I'm looking to enhance my metabolism and keep energy levls high with motsc.

That will be my upcoming aim, after I get my sleep and energy levels dialed in. Sleep is almost sorted. I just need to reconstitute my epithalon, but right now I'm still testing DSIP and working on maintaining good energy with MOTSC soon, though my next biohacking target will be addressing mental and cognitive areas, so I'm exploring and will begin looking into semax and other peptides for mental enhancement.

Into the subcutaneous fat, I only mentioned upper glute area to indicate where the muscle is, but I'm not injecting intramuscularly. It goes into the fat.
