Is a zinc supplement essential at all ranges also? Any info on the dose for that ?

Generally, no there's no need for a Zn supplement. However, it's always a good idea to do a blood test for Cu anyway, even if the amount of Cu in a shot is <300ug. However, if you have Wilson's disease then it's a HUGE deal and Zn isn't really going to help, it'll kill you (slowly) anyway.
I started at 2mg and am now at 2.5mg GHK-Cu +1.25mg GHK-basic +0.25mg KPV. The basic pulls in excess Cu ions and I haven't had pain/bruising since. KPV helped a bit short term, but still left welts. I moved to 8mm needles (recommend a pen if you doing it daily) and still use what's left of my love handles.
I think if you look into Reta in particular you'll find that it's GCGR activation literally causes increased metabolism, thermogenisis, and fat burning so it directly violates the CO of CICO. Calories in body absorption and relative conversion to keytone/glycogen/glucose is also completely dependent on how much, what order, and when you eat foods and likely gut bacteria so that it's suspicious as well. Humans are not calorimeters and most people are simply terrible judges of both how much they exercise and their macros even with wearables, scales, and cameras.
If you don't need to lose more than 5% of your body weight, placebo effect will probably get you there just fine, with lower risk.
