GHK-CU adverse reactions?

Ran 3mg twice daily for weeks — no issues at all.

Now just once per day.

Skin feels smooth and has a shine to it. Began taking glycine and collagen alongside to help with what I'm aiming for. Hair hasn't shown anything so far.
Is it fine to do 3mg both in the morning and at night? I figured my 4mg was already pushing it
To be honest, it's anyone's guess — I haven't had any bad reactions

I'll probably keep going for around 40-50 days, then pause

My skin has never been this glossy. As I mentioned, it's almost too glossy — the kind of shimmer those twilight vampires have. My girlfriend thinks it looks good, but it creeps me out a little haha
A genuine researcher! Respect 🫡 I'm after that glass skin from the K-Dramas! How much time passed before the vampire glow showed up?

Using the 0.9% NaCl solution together with the Multipin (3x5 units in a pen) made a big difference — the pain, bumps, and itching are gone.

That said, dark spots have appeared. So I'm done with GHK-Cu permanently.

My take: no CU for me in the near future. (and I'm not embarrassed to say it)
Your NaCl advice was a big help! 🥰 Yesterday I did my first pin of GHK-Cu + NaCl BAC and the ISR improved a lot; thank you! Just to clarify, the multipin technique means dividing your dose units into 3 and injecting at separate sites? Same as the question above, how long until discoloration/spots began to appear?
I dial the pen to 15 units, stick the needle in, then click 5 times. Right beside that spot I stick it again, click 5 more times, and keep going that way.

They've been there for as long as I can remember. I figured that was simply the way bruises heal. Once I switched to the NaCl though, the bruises cleared up, and then a few days after the shot these dark spots showed up.

Roughly 1 month, give or take.

On top of that, whenever I reach up to scratch my face, I brace for my nails to snag against the skin—but they just glide right over it…

My girlfriend claims my skin has always been smooth, yet it definitely was never smooth like this

I’ve been on GHK-CU 2mg for 7 days, and like others I feel the typical burning sensation during the shot. But after using it, I’ve noticed I become gassy with burping, plus I wake up with a sore throat. Could these be connected? Is anyone else experiencing anything similar?
Which spot are you injecting into? Your stomach? I really can't handle it there, so I use my glute instead, and the burning sensation is much less obvious!

I get these ISR every time. After about a month, it seemed like my body got used to it. Some days I still feel itchy the next day, but the major skin reaction only lasted through the first 2-3 weeks.

I've been injecting into my stomach, and the spots remain red for several days; bruising has also appeared. Would you say that's typical?

My rear end is covered in marks from where I inject. I figure that's just how it goes. As for the redness, that hasn't happened to me, though I've come across reports of other people dealing with it.

My injection site is roughly 4" beneath the belly button, and about 2" to each side of the midline.

When I tried pinning around the navel in the standard spot, the sensation was like being hit with a BB gun. A few inches farther down, I've noticed the discomfort drops off a lot.

My original reason for buying pens was to shoot GHK-Cu into the glute, but I couldn't picture managing that with a diabetic syringe given the twisting required. By the time the pens showed up, though, I'd already realized this lower spot hurt far less. So the pen just gets used there now.

One more advantage of pens: I add 3ml BAC water to spread the GHK-Cu through both the vial and the cartridge, which might reduce the sting. My process is to mix the powder with 3ml, pull 1.5ml, transfer that to the cartridge, then measure another 3ml and divide it, putting 1.5ml in the cart and 1.5ml in the vial. That leaves 100mg GHK-Cu distributed through 6ml of fluid.

Is it better? Not sure. At least it no longer feels like a BB shot.

Regarding what the OP asked: no, I haven't had any unusual side effects from GHK-Cu; the only change is that my skin seems much more tough yet soft, and others tell me my wrinkles look significantly less obvious. I also put collagen in my coffee, do micro-needling, and use a 4% GHK-Cu topical cream. The turkey neck is still there, though...

So it turns out I'm probably catching the flu right around when I began GHKUC... pure coincidence! My wife is sick too, that's how I know.

Which micro-needling routine are you using? Sorry to hear about your neck 🙁 I figure I'll eventually be in the same boat (fingers crossed!)

For those in their 40s or younger, hair loss may also be brought on by GHK-Cu.
Could you expand on that, or share where this info comes from? From what I understand, it should actually support hair health. As I see it, applying it topically might work similarly to MIN, which can lead to shedding as a new hair cycle kicks off - but that wouldn't be permanent hair loss.

For microneedling, I picked up a 0.2mm roller off Amazborg. Right after a really hot shower, I roll it on and then put on the 4% GHK-Cu cream (Amazborg again). Handing money to them bugs me, but the convenience is hard to beat...

Honestly? My neck does look improved. Around 20% better, I'd guess. I'm also doing those stretching routines that have been shared on this site.

For me, a sore throat points toward acid reflux. Are you injecting in the evening?
Yes, I inject it just before going to sleep. Acid reflux has been a long-standing issue for me—I've kept antacids next to my bed ever since my teenage years.
My recommendation would be to inject in the morning, once you're awake and active, or to finish eating considerably earlier at night.

A lot of folks I've come across add extra dilution, and logically that should cut down on the burning sensation. I've never taken a BB gun hit, though I'd guess the discomfort is in the same ballpark! What's the reason behind this, I wonder?!

Because of what I'd come across here, I mix my GHK-Cu with extra diluent. That did help, though finding a spot with less sensitivity by trying different pin sites helped even more. The glutes get a lot of praise from others, but I've settled on what works for me.

My understanding had been that the copper ions were behind the sting, yet there appears to be more going on; here's what ai told me:

AI Overview

Pain from GHK-Cu injections is mostly attributable to the copper ion, which upon entering subcutaneous tissue naturally irritates local nerve endings and mast cells. Acidic pH levels, concentrated solutions, or fast injection speeds that stretch the skin often make the discomfort worse. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]

A burning and stinging feeling is very common and expected, typically fading over a few minutes to hours. These particular factors are what drive that pain: [1]

    • Copper-Driven Tissue Irritation: Pain-sensing nerves (nociceptors) can be temporarily stimulated by free copper ions, and immune cells may be triggered to release histamine locally. [1]
    • pH and Concentration: Once reconstituted, GHK-Cu may have an acidic pH, and doses that are highly concentrated will produce a far sharper, localized sting. [1, 2, 3]
    • Osmolality Mismatch: The concentration of dissolved particles in the formula might not match your body's interstitial fluid exactly, which can cause temporary cellular disruption. [1, 2, 3]

In the past I've injected my belly and my love handle... that was the last time, it burned incredibly badly... the pain was the worst and a huge bruise stayed for weeks. These days I inject my upper thigh right into the fat there and every so often there's a faint tingle, but it's nowhere near what the stomach area feels like. If that were something I had to go through every day, there's no way I'd ever inject GHK again 😂

I injected 2mg into my thigh, mixed with .4mg of KPV... After that, I added another .5mg of KPV directly over it... That's just how reckless I am... 👍 😎

My wife, 50F, wants to try GHK-CU. What dose and how often should she start with? Online sources don’t agree.
