Fake peptide

I'm curious whether a vendor here would face a ban for selling counterfeit peptides.

Earlier today, someone reached out to me on telegram saying a vendor listed on this forum had scammed him. He told me to stay away from ordering there. To back it up, he shared a COA for the product he bought, the chat history with the vendor, and all the reasons they gave for not shipping genuine products, among other things. He also offered to send me more proof if I wanted it.

I can't tell whether this guy is just another competitor in the peptide space, but what he showed me looks believable. Then again, there's no way to be sure.

What exactly counts as "fake peptides"?

For a scam report to go up, or for anything to happen to a sponsor vendor, individual complaints usually need solid, convincing proof — and the same bar applies when the vendor being reported doesn't advertise here. When several reports come in with evidence behind them, particularly from long-standing members, administrative action becomes more likely.

The first issue: far too many people label any hiccup with a vendor a "scam". Replies came slower than you wanted? Scam! Your payment wasn't acknowledged right away at 3am on a Saturday? Scam! They wouldn't walk you through reconstitution and how-to questions? Scam! Shipping from China took 4 weeks rather than 2? Scam! Their product gave you no feels? Scam! USPS says delivered but you can't locate the package? Scam! See the pattern?

Second issue: plenty of genuine scammers are out there posing as well-known vendors, or working to sow enough doubt that business gets steered toward their own operation (or they're paid to trash other vendors while pushing the one paying them).

Sorry, but some rando messaging you on Telegrump is probably full of shit. If this was a real problem, they would be posting about it far and wide, not messaging individual people, and there would be numerous people reporting the same thing.

Finally, even in the event of a major screw-up or other problems with a vendor here, it's reasonable to give them time to correct it, which anyone who has done business with China knows is not always instant or in a timeframe that the customer considers ideal.

When something hasn't happened to you personally, there's no way to tell whether it's accurate.
Exactly. About 2 weeks back I ordered from them, and my package is set to arrive tomorrow. All I can do is hope the claims aren't accurate and that what they sent is genuine.
How can you tell they're fake when the peptides haven't arrived yet?

Not long ago I ran into exactly this kind of problem. It was my first time ordering from a sponsor of the forum. Before buying, I went by the excellent reviews — all positive — posted here, and I also reached out to a few members who had bought from this vendor previously. My order was small: R30, R20 and KPV10 only. Once I had paid, I saw reports on the vendor's discord and Tg from users saying R20 wasn't doing anything. My first reaction was that these were probably competitor trolls trying to damage the vendor's reputation, which up to that point looked flawless. As time passed, though, more and more users said reta had no effect whatsoever. We set up a discord group, pooled money for testing, and bingo. The reta contained no reta at all. Purity of this unidentified compound came out at 67%. Next we tested other peps from the same vendor, taken from recent deliveries — Tesa, Cjc, Tirz, etc. — and every one was bunk. My KPV was never tested, but after pinning it for 2 weeks with nothing happening, it was bunk too. In the end, some people received replacements, others got refunds. Even a few of the replacements came from the bad batch, though some were fine and already tested. The vendor said a shortage forced them to change source, and that they are now back with the earlier, decent supplier. Yet some of the bunk peps are still being shipped. That is the risk you accept when buying on the grey market.

Never place blind faith—have your peptides analyzed for verification.
Testing has never been something I did myself — the vendors I work with through Group Promotions handle it, Endo included.
So in that case, you've had it tested, right?

Same here, I'm hoping for that outcome. The person who reached out to me on telegram, however, said the seller gave them this explanation: the real peptide had been swapped for a fake one. That's the seller's account — I have no way to share screenshots.

"Here's what happened. After vendor told me about it, I immediately went to verify. This time, due to a surprise inspection by customs on this batch of products, we had to temporarily switch them out to avoid being caught. Otherwise, if the products with the required purity level were found, we would be in trouble"
Since when do customs run purity and mass tests?

Or check the contents at all?

That does very little to make what you're saying believable..

Nope, not yet.

At least Alibaba came through with my refund — it says the refund was sent, so now I just have to wait and see how long it takes to land back in my account. Could be anywhere from 3 to 15 working days.

This is exactly why Alipay and Alibaba are my go-to. If you pay with crypto, you can kiss your money and say goodbye.

Not long ago I got my money back in crypto. That said, the vendor was legit — they had just handled my case really poorly.

Haha right, sure — I'll just go ahead and toss $350+ straight into the trash, every time I buy a single kit.

From here on out, take your business to a neighborhood drugstore.

Here's the thing: in the grey market there's an ironclad, absolutely 100% rule of good conduct — you NEVER EVER file a chargeback with a financial institution over peptides (or the absence of them) bought from grey vendors. Doing so wrecks things for everyone. That's part of why I lean toward vendors who only take crypto.

That's the reason the majority of sellers take crypto payments only.

Did you actually run any testing on it, or did you just ask for a refund because some stranger on TG showed you a COA paired with a made-up customs excuse?

This kind of thing is super simple to make up for, right? I mean, ridiculously simple.

Once the peps arrive, sending them off for testing seems like the only proper move. Doing a chargeback on the order before you have tested them yourself was a bit premature.

Why are you coming at me like that? I only meant that you should either test them on your own or go in on group testing. ?? I thought that was obvious

Christ, I already told you I don't do testing, since there's no need for it, and I wouldn't bother even if there were. Couldn't care less. That stuff gets set up by the Group Promotion Vendors, not the supplier. Not sure what your problem is, do you need a fresh diaper?
