What exactly counts as "fake peptides"?dayumay said:
I'm curious whether a vendor here would face a ban for selling counterfeit peptides.
Earlier today, someone reached out to me on telegram saying a vendor listed on this forum had scammed him. He told me to stay away from ordering there. To back it up, he shared a COA for the product he bought, the chat history with the vendor, and all the reasons they gave for not shipping genuine products, among other things. He also offered to send me more proof if I wanted it.
I can't tell whether this guy is just another competitor in the peptide space, but what he showed me looks believable. Then again, there's no way to be sure.

For a scam report to go up, or for anything to happen to a sponsor vendor, individual complaints usually need solid, convincing proof — and the same bar applies when the vendor being reported doesn't advertise here. When several reports come in with evidence behind them, particularly from long-standing members, administrative action becomes more likely.
The first issue: far too many people label any hiccup with a vendor a "scam". Replies came slower than you wanted? Scam! Your payment wasn't acknowledged right away at 3am on a Saturday? Scam! They wouldn't walk you through reconstitution and how-to questions? Scam! Shipping from China took 4 weeks rather than 2? Scam! Their product gave you no feels? Scam! USPS says delivered but you can't locate the package? Scam! See the pattern?
Second issue: plenty of genuine scammers are out there posing as well-known vendors, or working to sow enough doubt that business gets steered toward their own operation (or they're paid to trash other vendors while pushing the one paying them).
Sorry, but some rando messaging you on Telegrump is probably full of shit. If this was a real problem, they would be posting about it far and wide, not messaging individual people, and there would be numerous people reporting the same thing.
Finally, even in the event of a major screw-up or other problems with a vendor here, it's reasonable to give them time to correct it, which anyone who has done business with China knows is not always instant or in a timeframe that the customer considers ideal.
