I'm a 36-year-old guy, and during this spring I completed a tesa run that went really well. After stopping for roughly 7 weeks, I began cjc/ipa around 6 weeks back. Below are my IGF-1 readings across different Tesa/ipa and CJC/ipa dosages. I was somewhat taken aback that CJC didn't deliver as much, though I'm only injecting it 1 time per day. What do you all think? My pinning schedule was 1 time daily in the morning. With tesa I followed 5/2, while cjc I'm running every day.

To be honest, this lines up exactly with what I'd have predicted. Strong results no matter how you slice it. If you were to switch the CJC/Ipa to 2x per day, my guess is it would come closer to resembling Tesa — though it's tough to make a solid comparison when you're pinning 2x day and then doing a fasted AM draw.

Getting that kind of effect from 1mg Tesa means you're fortunate.

Compared to my numbers on 2mg Tesa/300mcg IPA at 54 yrs old, your baseline sits just slightly under.

On the relative protocols, this is roughly in line with what I'd anticipate too — though it exceeds my expectations. Getting a 2.1z from 1mg Tesa without ipa is excellent and comes at a lower cost. Most people, in my view, shouldn't be maintaining a 3+. Was this consistently 1x daily, 7days/wk? Morning fasted or evening? Appreciate you posting this! For the community, data like this is incredibly valuable. It also highlights why labs matter so much — these peptides are potent, yet responses vary widely from person to person.

After noticing that 3.1 z score, I cut back on how much I was taking. Just 1 injection each morning on an empty stomach. For Tesa it was 5/2, while cjc is taken daily. I went back and updated the post so it's clearer. Appreciate it!

I wonder whether the effect diminishes as time goes on. Still, this is solid information—thanks.

After just 4 weeks on 2mg Tesa plus 0.5mg Ipa, my IGF shot up nicely. I'll be getting another test in roughly 6 weeks. Since I've been hitting it hard, I have no clue where it'll land.

here's an update now that I've moved to cjc/ipa taken 2x daily (previously it was only 1x). My igf-1 ended up dropping. Igf-1 came in at 195 with a z score of 0.7. Really caught me off guard. My guess is that my receptors are now desensitized, meaning I should probably stay off the secretagogues for 1 or 2 months? Has anyone else run into something like this or have any input?

According to Chatgpt, 300mcg was probably already too much given my body weight (150 lbs). I'm leaning toward pausing, then giving 150mcg 2x a day a shot.

What's the reason for avoiding hgh? At 2 iu per day, you'd probably see slightly improved outcomes. My own path went tesa first, then cjc, and finally hgh — and even at 2 iu daily, my z score never rises above 1.

Isn't the goal to push your igf-1 past 1? particularly when using hgh

Tesa worked really well for me, so I'm not sure whether moving to HGh at 36 makes sense in my case.

My igf 1 level stays near 180 and the z score consistently sits at about 1

My results have been in the same ballpark, but I haven’t tried CJC at all:

Tesa 1.7mg + Ipa 290mcg: z-score 2.3

Tesa 1.7mg alone: z-score 1.8

Tesa 1mg alone: z-score still waiting, blood draw scheduled for this Friday

Every protocol followed a 5 days on, 2 days off schedule (from what I gather, running it 7 days straight is also acceptable).

As far as I can tell, nothing points to receptor desensitization with Tesa (if anyone has studies showing otherwise, I’d really like to see them), though some research does suggest cycling Ipa so that receptor desensitization doesn’t develop.
