Hi everyone,

I looked around and couldn't locate a recent discussion on this subject — I assume this mostly applies to those in the US, though anyone is welcome to chime in.

Getting in to see a PCP for labs on a regular basis isn't something I can manage, and I realize plenty of people either go straight to labs on their own or turn to self-testing kits and similar services. Which one do you rely on, how frequently do you do it, and beyond a standard CBC / CMP, is there anything you consistently test for?

Checking IGF and Test levels is what I'm most focused on right now, since I'm thinking about putting Tesa into my stack and my T has come back borderline low before. For me, the main things that matter are cost and convenience.

A cheap and easy route: head to ownyourlabs.com and purchase the blood work yourself. Once you've placed the order and paid through the site, print the lab requisition, then bring it to a Labcorp draw station near you.

Expect results roughly 1 week later.

Goodlabs is another solid choice. Through them, you can place orders for just about any test, and that covers every hormone imaginable. When using their site, Quest Labs tends to come out noticeably cheaper than Labcorp, so which one is nearby makes a difference. Also, 20% off referral codes are frequently available for them.

After roughly 1 year with fitomics, I'm checking out goodlabs' no-subscription approach.

The rates are quite attractive, and even though labcorp costs more, it remains a solid option.

I'll also put in a good word for Goodlabs.com. For under $50, I got a full lipid panel, CMP, a one-off Lipoprotein(a), Apolipoprotein(b), A1c, fasting glucose, and more. Use this code for 20% off: S93U1U.

Much appreciated, generous anonymous user!

Fitomics is what I use since Quest is not local for me.

Comparing prices against Goodlabs never happened, on the logic that the gap is small enough to not bother. Catch them during a sale and yee haw.

Throwing in another vote for Goodlabs — fast, cheap, quick turnaround (and near a Quest I believe they also work with LabCorp). Anyone who wants a 20% off code can use mine: RSLX0S.
