This morning brought something I hadn't run into before. For a while now I've been injecting BPC157 and Wolverine by pinching the skin on my lower leg, just above the ankle, but today as I eased the needle in gradually, I noticed a little blood trickling back into the cart.

Thankfully it was only a third full, and since BPC-157 is a the cheap one, I'll toss what's left and prepare a fresh batch. Should it happen a second time, though, I might need to reconsider the topical injections. Whether they actually make a difference is something people still debate.

It does happen to some people, though it's something I've personally never run into.

When you do the injection, are you on your feet and hunched over? That position could raise the pressure in your lower legs and ankles beyond what it would otherwise be. One option worth trying: lie on your back with your ankles positioned higher than your torso.

As for BPC or Wolverine, I've never injected them into the problem areas themselves. My routine is to pin them near my navel, and doing it that way has worked well for me in reducing plantar fasciitis and ankle joint pain. So site-specific injections may not be required at all; the only way to know is to test it and watch whether the results you're after show up.

Nope, I'm seated when I do it. Possibly a really small blood vessel, that's my guess?

As for results, I haven't gotten what I'm after so far since the injury is still there. Without taking it, it's tough to say how the healing would have gone.

There's so much back and forth about whether the injection site makes a difference with BPC157 that I don't stress over it, though I figured it was worth trying. Like I mentioned, if it happens a second time I'll stop bothering with it.

My guess is the same: a small blood vessel got nicked. With testosterone injections I always pull back first to see whether I've landed in a vein, and only then do I push the plunger. A pen doesn't let you do that check. Perhaps it's worth reconsidering the pen for spots that have more circulation?
