Beginner: reta solo or stacked with tesa?

I definitely want to drop at least 10kg, no question about that. I was under the impression that tesa would be necessary to shift stubborn fat, though maybe if I keep up my gym routine while using Reta, it won't be needed.
The fat that won't budge is not the same as visceral fat. Visceral fat is the hidden kind that wraps around your organs. It weighs only about 1 -2 pounds, you can't see it, and it isn't that small belly pouch lol

When I first got started, this is the peptide calculator I relied on. After the math clicks, you can handle it mentally. It's straightforward and simple to operate.

With a 5mg vial, 1ML of water is what I'd put in, and from there each 20 units on a syringe = 1mg. 0.5mg is 10 units. 1.5mg would be 30 units, and so on.

Also, have you picked up your Reta yet, or not? For the first few weeks, 5mg works well, but my guess is that after a month or so you'll titrate up to 1.5-2mg a week. If buying hasn't happened yet, I'd personally go with 10mg vials. Skip the 20-30+mg big vials for now, but when you work out cost per mg, 10's make more financial sense. Should you already have 5's, no problem. At the the end of the day, it's all Reta.
This calculator is my favorite one, it functions the same way my brain does.

If you're thinking visceral fat is something you can see, you may be disappointed by tesa. Do you know how much of it you have?

Honestly, that one's on me. Visceral fat isn't what I was getting at — I'm talking about the fat you can actually see sitting on the outside.

As for the amount, I really can't say, since it's been a while since I last looked. My yearly check is scheduled for tomorrow, though, so chances are I'll get my percentage then.

I totally swapped them, haha

My phrasing came out wrong — what I was actually talking about is the fat you can see, not the internal kind 😭

so awkward

This kind of mix-up happens all the time, so you're definitely not the only one. Where exactly the wrong information originates, I can't really say, but it's good that folks are stepping in to make sure the correct term gets used.

When it comes to scientific and medical wording, I really value being precise.

So would 10 ml of bac water be too much for a reta 5 mg or a 10mg? Is 3ml sufficient?
The math here is straightforward. If you put 10 mL of water into 5 mg of reta, that works out to .5 mg /ml. That means a 1 mg dose would call for injecting 2 ml, which is a large volume for a small amount of drug. My own approach is to aim for concentrations around 10mg /ml. Doing it that way makes it simple to calculate how many units to draw for any given mg dose. So with 5 mg of reta, you'd use .5 ml of water. And for a 1 mg dose, you'd draw to the 10 unit mark.
