Arm ISR spreading pain, why so weird?

Just received my first pen, and I figured since I already inject this often, why not give GLOW a shot in the pen? That way I could finally attempt injecting my own arm. I saw a video of a guy doing it - he bent his elbow upward so the back of his arm faced forward near his head, then jabbed himself with the pen while chatting to the camera. I looked for other guides on self-injecting your arm, but couldn't find any that actually demonstrate it. So I reconstituted with extra BAC water to reduce the sting. 70mg/5ml - I also filtered it. First dose went into the glute with a regular needle. Second dose used the pen. Neither caused any ISR at all (I'd just finished a round of KLOW and had felt every stinging and bruising ISR in thighs, belly, and glute/lovehandle). So on the 3rd dose I finally worked up the nerve to try the back of the arm like the guy in the video.

Found a spot thick enough to make sure I'd be in a fat layer in that position, wiped it with alcohol, let it dry, and left the pen out for about 15 min or so. Then I just copied what I think the guy did. Felt a bit clumsy but no sting, just tricky to hold the position and stay still while keeping the pen in place for ten seconds. Voila, I did it!!

Four hours later at work I begin to notice the spot. Then it seems to radiate up toward my armpit, but not crazy yet. I glance at it between clients (I do massage). Over the next few clients it ramps up. As hours pass, I feel it along the ulnar side of my forearm and even more pain up in my armpit. I got more worried. Are there red streaks? Do I need the ER? Can I just take some Doxy when I get home? Did I miss the area I swabbed? Don't my axillary lymph nodes feel a bit warmer and swollen? Check the mirror between clients and it still looks fine, just slight redness and way fainter than my KLOW ISRs. I pinched the site, which did feel like a small lump, and shook it before my last client. By the end of the day the pain was gone.

Is that odd? I've had a delayed ISR after icing once (burned for hours before fading) and I've had lingering pain, but I've never had spreading/shooting pain with any of the others, even the worst bruising ones.

I’ve never used GLOW, though GHK-Cu is one of its ingredients and I take that 2x per day. Anywhere other than my rear end, and I end up with stinging, lumps and bruises.

My arms are reserved for shots that aren’t spicy. Sure, given the needle lengths we use, hitting the nerves or arteries of the brachial plexus is basically impossible, but I’d still rather not bring the spice into that region.

Whew! I’m happy you’re doing better. And I’m sorry that happened to you.

Looking back, that was clearly a dumb pick, but the first 2 shots didn't bite at all, and every injection after that has also been painless. 😬 Next time I'll definitely go with something less spicy.
