Hi, I'm new here and to peptides. I got an AOD-9604 order recently and I'm running into the usual reconstitution problems.

What I did: I began with a fresh vial of Hospira BAC Water and a fresh vial of 0.6% acetic acid. I've attempted to reconstitute 5 vials of 5mg AOD in 3ML vials.

Note: the same BAC vial was used for the KLOW and MOTS-C that arrived alongside the AOD, and the first vial of each came out fine.

At the 48-hour mark, here's what I got

Vial 1: Put in 2.5ml of BAC. Large particulates appeared that wouldn't dissolve, so 0.5ml of acetic was added. It's now very cloudy with small floaters. I also had a bad angle when mixing the BAC and the vacuum pulled the water in hard because I wasn't keeping good pressure on the plunger, which caused a lot of turbulence, so this one may be my fault.

Vial 2. Put in 0.5ML of Acetic Acid, waited a minute, then put in 2.5ml of BAC. Result: large clumps and very cloudy.

Vial 3: Put in 0.6ml of Acetic Acid, waited a minute, then put in 2.4ml of BAC. Result: a little cloudy but large clumps.

Vial 4: Put in 3ml of BAC. Result: no floaters but cloudy

Vial 5: Put in 1ML of air, then put in 3ML of BAC (to slow the mix rate from the vacuum). Result is no floaters and cloudy, but less so than vial 4.

So far, I haven't seen any gelling. Only the cloudy and particles.

My questions:

1. Am I doing something wrong or did I get a bad batch? Everything I've read says that if I mix it wrong I should also be getting gelling along with the particles, and I haven't gotten any gelling.

2. I know particles aren't good, but the last 2 vials that are just cloudy, are those 2 OK. Anyone have real experience with this?

I wouldn't call myself an expert by any means, though I've mixed up multiple 5ml batches of AOD without running into cloudiness or floaters. What worked for me was putting 2.5ml of Hospira into the 3ml vial.

A few things I'd want to know:

1) Were the vials left out for 15-20 minutes to reach room temperature prior to mixing?

2) How did the powder look before the BAC went in? (ideally a consistent white or off-white powder or cake, without heavy clumping or a yellow tint)

3) You mentioned that with vial 1 the BAC shot in with hardly any control. For vials 2-5, was the BAC dripped slowly along the vial wall instead?

4) Did you roll the vials gently on an angle to help them dissolve, or did you shake them?

And 5) Why mix five vials before checking in for advice? 3 vials I could see, but what's your plan for going through 5 - 3ml vials within a month?

You're right that particles are a problem, and this should end up completely clear with nothing floating in it and no cloudiness.

Hopefully someone with more background can chime in with better input and ideas. A filter ought to catch the particles, though I'm not sure whether the cloudiness would come out with filtering.

No matter which ratios of bac water and AA I tried, reconstitution never worked properly for me. On top of that, I have not noticed any results from it either. In my view, there are much better fat burners available, so I will not be purchasing it again.

There is a belief that you should never shake peptides to blend them. 4) When helping the powder dissolve, did you tilt the vial and roll it gently, or did you shake it?

That makes sense. The reason I picked AOD was to target fat loss along with joint recovery. My hope is that combining AOD with Klow will ease the knees of an old Soldier. Should the reconstitution problems continue, I'll switch to mots, tesa or CJC.

I gave the roll between my hands a shot, plus a light swirl, and I also tried tipping the vial gently upside down and back right side up. I did not shake it.

Use the acetic acid first — let the powder break down in that, then add your BAC water.
When I used that approach on vials 2 and 3, the outcome was worse than before. Vial 2 contained 0.5 ml of AA, while vial 3 had 0.6ml. After adding the AA, I rolled the vial until no further dilution appeared to be happening. It never reached full dilution, just so you know, and then I put in the BAC. My post mentioned a minute, but the actual time was nearer to 5.

I'm not an expert by any means, but my AOD reconstitutions have gone smoothly every time (fingers crossed). What I do is leave the AOD out for 30mins so it reaches room temp, then at an angle I slowly add 3ml of BAC water (nothing else, no AA) and roll the vial between my hands to blend. Because the BAC water is cold, I normally leave the mixed AOD sitting out for another 10mins and roll it again so the remaining powder dissolves.

1. Correct

2. It appeared normal. Nothing off and no color change.

3. Vials 2 through 5 stayed under control.

4. Rolling was all I did, no shaking.

5. Ha. For the first vial, BAC was what I used to reconstitute. Once particles showed up, the AA went in. Then, after reading more online, I came across that AA ought to be added first. That led me to do a second one. Many large chunks are present. After a 24 hour wait, I read further and watched some videos. Gave it another go. Since a vial containing large particles wasn't going to be used anyway, waiting served no purpose, as my goal is to work it into my cycle. By now every method I could find online has been tried. The last 2 gave the best outcome, and at the 300mcg daily dosage, 2 vials cover a month. Also, should this be a bad batch, I want to contact the S******. But if the mistake is mine, then I own it.

Thanks for the feedback
