I've never bought into the whole "wellness" scene. My rule of thumb: if ibuprofen, duct tape, or plain denial can't solve it, it's probably garbage.

Then yesterday, my PT threw in a complimentary Red Light Therapy session. I've been on Tirzepatide for several months, and the fast weight loss has made my face age like a dog's. So I shrugged and went for it. At worst, I'd walk out glowing like a nightlight.

Thing 1 I didn't expect: the light is intense. I pictured soft, spa vibes. What I got looked like a tanning bed mated with the warp core of the Enterprise. (Honestly, I dug it -- what's next, Geordi?)

Thing 2 I didn't expect: you're naked for it. So picture me, a man in his 50s, inside a booth the size of a closet, soaking in red light like a rotisserie chicken that lost its way. Midway through, I caught myself doing a little shuffle (think the movie FAME), and my brain went, "If someone opens that door, I'm socially dead forever."

But you know what? It was actually a good time. Goofy, but a good time. I felt like the lead in some cheap sci-fi flick where the aliens try to make me young again before shipping me back to Earth.

Will it do anything for the wrinkles? No clue. Still, I can now say I gave it a shot, and I neither combusted nor woke up with powers . . . yet, so I'm calling it a win. She also told me I'm welcome back anytime, free of charge. Sounds like it isn't seeing much traffic these days.

Just wanted to share my first trip into the world of glowing wellness gadgets. Worst case, someone out there gets a chuckle picturing me doing the Naked Red Light Shuffle in a closet.

No-cost red light therapy? What a fortunate fellow! I'm on board with it, though your comedic touch is great -- keep us posted on whether you notice any positive effects, even if they only show up on the dance floor 😉

The person who supplied my RLT introduced me to Tirz at a nearby medspa. After that I looked into it myself and showed her the Telehealth Tirz route; we both dove in completely, and from there I pushed us onward into the wider peptide scene. At this point she and that same medspa contact are launching a shop of her own to chase those enormous margins. All of this happened within the past six months! So RLT barely registers compared with the rest! 🙂

Sure hope there's a commission in it for you 😉

No cut — the session was comped. 🙂

Those who get it, get it

My wife picked up a cheap little red light panel, and I'd actually been reading up on IR/NIR after catching wind of a few things. My thinking was: if it turns out to be useless, no real loss. So I began aiming it at myself during my usual bathroom routine — toilet and shower. Folding it into that slot just seems like a smart use of time, since I've got to poop and shower regardless.

To be honest, I can't say I noticed anything concrete getting better. Sleep might be improved, but that's likely just the schedule — I do it in the evening. Then again, I'm done eating by 7pm, and before bed I take cjc1295/ipamorelin plus magnesium glycinate. So I've already been sleeping well for quite a while.

I was worried my vision was getting worse, but that appears to have halted or even gone back to 20/20 or 20/15.

It's been ages since my last eye exam, so there's no data I can compare against. And over the past year I made several other changes that ought to have helped my health overall.

I still do it because it doesn't really eat into my regular day.

I came across a sauna equipped with a red light panel.

The highlight?

Since the sauna is private, I'm able to use it with no clothes on.

Thats a solid sweat.

I picked up a red light therapy mask that also emits blue and yellow light. For several months now, I've stuck with it regularly. Since I'm young and don't have wrinkles, I can't say whether it does anything for that, though it appeared to calm down my facial flushing tied to autoimmune issues. The blue light setting, I have to say, is the real deal and I'm a fan. It does help with acne and it obviously works for me when I use it nightly. I've also tried the mask on my previously broken elbow and a knee with a torn ligament, but I can't claim it made a difference. Bpc157 was what helped those the most.

I own a red light unit that, in my view, beats every option below 100k—though it must be positioned right against the areas you're treating.
