53lb so far, successful switch to Reta from Tirz

Any issues with combining both? Side effects? If you don’t mind me asking what does your dosages look like?

No issues at all so far but we are only 10 weeks into this research and still titrating up.

She is on the max dose of Tirz 15mg a week, she gets it prescribed from a Dr and we started her Reta journey at:

1mg for 2 weeks

2mg for 2 weeks

3mg for 6 weeks

Just started 4mg for first week all while keeping the Tirz at 15mg. After 4-8 weeks at this dosage we will re-evaluate. I think if we were to increase the Reta past the 4 I would most likely lower her Tirz dose. We will cross that bridge when we get there I suppose.

I'm a combiner. I started switching to reta from tirz when I plateaued at an obese weight. Now I am merely fat, but so very close to the normal range.

I'm having a slice of steam swai fish, with lentils. Oh my propel cold water is right next to me lol. How's your day going Mr. B

What were the biggest differences between reta and tirz that you noticed?

The reduced appetite suppression was the biggest difference. Other than that, the effects feel about the same for me. A lot of people say that the increase in resting heart rate messes with them, but I haven't had an issue with that. I'm also not measuring it, so it might be elevated a bit and I just don't notice. After the first shot the next day I could feel it but not really since.

Just got in from work. Long day slinging tacos. I’m a managing partner at Torchy’s Tacos. I was off yesterday and made a sirloin tip roast, so I had leftovers for dinner. I’ve never had or even heard of swai fish. Is it similar to any other kind of fish? You’ll have to let me know how you’re doing as that first reta kicks in over the next few days!

My wife has been on Tirz since October and got to highest dose and about 2 months ago we added Reta for the glucagon effects. Has been working well. A lot of people combine both.

Minimum dose Reta? Any side effects?

Buenos Dias Mr. B,

I love me some Tacos, well i don't know many Latinos that don't 😂. Swai remind me a lot of Red Snapper in the sense that the fish itself is a blank canvas what you put on it, it's what you will taste, the meat tends to be tender, flaky and juicy. Getting to the Reta-Tirz 😂, friday i was ontop of the world and yesterday it kinda felt a bit fatigued other than that it was not bad at all. Plus, i'm being responsable and doing smaller doses as you seen me post. This morning i'm feeling Great, i've started with 20oz of propel water and will be grabbing my fairlife chocolate shake in about 30-45min because i'm not hungry. Plz don't be mad at me, I've never heard of Torchy's. I kinda have a tiny OCD and I don't do much outside food. I hope you have a Great day today and thanks for stopping by ♥

She started at 1.0mg for 2 weeks, then titrated up 2.0 for 3 weeks, then 3.0 for 4 weeks and just recently went to 4.0mg.

Sides have been minimal and we took our time with titrating up. Most of her side effects are from the Tirz she takes once a week. Reta we do split dosing twice a week.

I'm up to 11mg on Tirz and not losing. I'm scared I won't lose much more if I keep titrating up to the max. Thinking about adding Reta as well. I know a seller but don't know if the prices are good and haven't taken the plunge yet

For your situation I would say unless you have crazy sides from Tirz at 11mg, you still have room to increase your dose. We only decided to add Reta after she plateaued at the highest 15mg clinical dose for a couple of months.

What I can say tho is the combination of both Tirz and Reta has helped my wife tremendously. It really jump started the weight loss again.

Yea, I'll definitely wait until I do get up to 15 mg. I should have said 'as I keep titrating up' instead of 'if I keep titrating up'. Thanks for the info. Hey, I just noticed you're in Turlock! We used to live in Merced. My husband used to live in Atwater until he joined the Marines and we eventually moved back to the area. A lot of his Dad's family still lives around there and we go back to visit. Haven't been in a while but hope to get back soon

What a small world. Funny to run into someone online that knows about little ol' Turlock. 😀
