March is when this journey began, at 316 lbs., and 53 lbs. are already gone! That works out at an average of 2.8 lbs. per week. These medicines are amazing!

The switch to Reta started about eight weeks ago, driven mostly by FOMO from what I was reading. Tirz was doing fine for me, though at 7.5 mg some GI issues had appeared. With both in my system at once, the fat-burning and appetite suppression were amazing, and I can see why stacking the two appeals. Now that the Tirz has fully cleared, I'm definitely a little hungrier at times, though it still isn't what I'd call "food noise". The way I feel on Reta pleases me personally. So far I take 8 mg per week, split into two 4 mg doses on Thursday and Sunday, with no side effects at this level. Effectively I swapped out 1.5 mg of Tirz for Reta each week until only Reta remained. Around that time I started my father on Tirz, so it should work out well: he can work through my Tirz stash and I'll work through the Reta. Ordering will need looking into again soon, though, since I only ordered one kit at the start to experiment with. Now I realise I'll be sticking with this for a while!

Since March I've added GHK-Cu, NAD+, and MT1 too. The MT1 is clearly doing something: a nice little base tan has appeared after only short spells in the sun. Tanning has never worked for me! Normally the only two colors I can achieve are red and white again! 😂 September takes me to the Caribbean, so showing off the weight loss and the new golden color will be nice!

NAD+ does seem to give a small boost, though it could equally just be that I feel better without an extra 53 lbs to carry. Either way, I paid for it, so it gets used. Once it runs out I'll probably know whether the NAD+ was actually behind it.

Judging by what I've read on GHK-Cu, it hasn't been in my system long enough for the benefits to really show, so we'll see!

At 46, this isn't my first rodeo with weight loss. With these medicines helping, though, I genuinely believe this attempt will succeed and last! Finding this community to learn from has been such a blessing. Reading this forum has taught me a great deal, and I hope to pass along what I've learned to someone who needs it in the future!
This is absolutely some of the information I have been looking for since I started compound Sema, moved to peptide Tirz and began researching Reta. Why would I switch to Reta when Tirz is working has been my biggest question. No side effect to Tirz at all for me, which was great after Sema. The difference between Tirz and Reta was something I always wondered about, so thank you for that!
Exactly the same boat here. Tirz works, yet Reta interests me a great deal. Apparently it burns fat more effectively. Idk
My wife started Tirz in October and reached the highest dose, and roughly 2 months back we added Reta for the glucagon effects. Working well so far. Plenty of people combine the two.
Any issues combining the two? Side effects? If you don't mind me asking, what do your dosages look like?
Zero issues so far, though we're only 10 weeks into this research and still titrating up.

She's on the max dose of Tirz, 15mg a week, prescribed by a Dr, and her Reta journey began at:

1mg for 2 weeks

2mg for 2 weeks

3mg for 6 weeks

4mg for the first week just started, all while keeping the Tirz at 15mg. Once 4-8 weeks at this dosage are done we'll re-evaluate. Should we take the Reta past the 4, I'd most likely lower her Tirz dose. That bridge can be crossed when we reach it I suppose.

Combiner here. The switch from tirz to reta began when I plateaued at an obese weight. These days I'm merely fat, but very close to the normal range.

Following up as promised — my very first R-e-t-a shot is in. I'm hoping 3.33mg ends up being my magic number. Fingers crossed, everyone.
My plate today has a piece of steamed swai on it plus some lentils. And yep, my Propel bottle is parked right beside me lol. So how is your day treating you, Mr. B?

Of all the differences between reta and tirz, which struck you most?
What stood out most was that my appetite came back with weaker suppression. Beyond that, everything has felt roughly the same for me. Plenty of folks complain that their resting heart rate climbs, yet that hasn't bothered me at all. I'm not tracking it either, so maybe it is up a little and I simply never noticed. The day after my initial injection I could sense something, but not much since then.

Just walked in from a shift of slinging tacos — I manage as a partner at Torchy's Tacos. Yesterday was my day off, so I roasted a sirloin tip and had the leftovers for dinner. Swai is a complete unknown to me: never tasted it, never heard of it. Does it resemble any fish you've had? Keep me posted on how you're holding up once that initial reta starts working over the coming days!

What's the lowest reta dose people run? And does it come with any sides?

Just walked in from a shift of slinging tacos — I manage as a partner at Torchy's Tacos. Yesterday was my day off, so I roasted a sirloin tip and had the leftovers for dinner. Morning to you, Mr. B,

I do love tacos, and honestly I don't know many Latinos who don't 😂. Swai strikes me as very close to Red Snapper — the fillet is basically a blank canvas, so whatever you season it with is what you'll taste, and the flesh usually comes out tender, flaky and juicy. On the Reta-Tirz front 😂, Friday I felt on top of the world, and yesterday I was a little wiped out, but otherwise it was nothing bad at all. And I'm being careful, running smaller doses the way you've seen me post. This morning I feel great: I started with 20oz of Propel water and I'll grab my fairlife chocolate shake in about 30-45min since I'm not hungry. Please don't be upset with me — I'd honestly never heard of Torchy's. I'm a bit OCD about it and I don't eat out much. Hope your day goes great, and thanks for dropping in ♥

Glad to hear your wife is getting on well with it. Knowing she has you in her corner makes whatever comes up that much easier to handle. It's good news for the two of you that it's doing its job.

Her first 2 weeks were at 1.0mg. Then she went up to 2.0 for 3 weeks, followed by 3.0 across 4 weeks, and only just moved to 4.0mg.

Side effects have been mild, and we titrated slowly on purpose. What does bother her mostly traces back to the Tirz, which she takes weekly. The Reta gets split into two doses a week.

I've worked my way to 11mg of Tirz and the scale has stopped moving. It worries me that pushing all the way to the top dose won't buy me much more. So I've been considering stacking Reta on top. There's a seller I know of, but I can't tell whether the pricing is fair, and so far I haven't committed.

In your shoes, as long as Tirz at 11mg isn't giving you brutal sides, I'd say there's still room to go higher. We only added Reta once she had stalled for a couple of months at 15mg, the top clinical dose.

What I can tell you is that running Tirz and Reta together has done a tremendous amount for my wife. It got the weight loss moving again.

What's the lowest reta dose people run? And does it come with any sides?

Right, I'll hold off until I actually reach 15 mg. What I meant was 'as I keep titrating up', not 'if I keep titrating up' — thanks for the info. Funny thing, I just spotted that you're in Turlock! Merced is where we used to live. My husband was in Atwater until he joined the Marines, and eventually we came back to this area. Quite a bit of his Dad's family is still around there, so we drive back to see them. It's been a while now, but I'm hoping we get back soon

Such a small world. What are the odds of bumping into somebody online who's heard of little ol' Turlock. 😀
