12 weeks of peptide therapy w/pictures

WOW, truly amazing, you look fantastic! Joining this forum has obviously unleashed pandora's box for me, and now I need to start educating myself on peptides other than tirz 😅
A lot of people in this space know exactly what that first step into peptides feels like. For plenty of them, starting with the GLPs opened the door to trying other peptides too. Have fun with the process.

I'm 61. To track any changes, I kept the room identical, used the same lighting, and wore no makeup.

1. The first photo was taken when I started my research. I was dealing with massive inflammation, taking multiple pharmaceuticals, my skin had a grey cast, and my hair was very frizzy. Around the cheeks and eyes, you can see how puffy and inflamed everything appears.

2. The second photo comes 4 weeks into peptides. Aside from Levothyroxine (for thyroid), I've stopped all pharmaceuticals. My eyes look more open, my hair has calmed down, the puffiness is receding, and my face is beginning to reveal its structure. Hair is less frizzy, and the grey cast on my skin is fading.

3. The third photo is at 12 weeks of the peptide journey. With the swelling going down, some fine lines are now visible (I'm more than okay with this), but my skin looks noticeably healthier. The swelling around my eyes has kept shrinking, and the overall puffiness is starting to fade. My hair is still improving. I remain off all pharmaceuticals, and my Levothyroxine dose had to be reduced!

Unexpected change: Hair getting darker, grey receding ...holy cow!

Stacks (not all at once)

Tirz 5mg (ongoing)

GHKcu (ongoing)

NAD+ (ongoing)

KLOW (individual vials/8 week run)

Epithalon 1 cycle

Thymosin Alpha 1 for 1 cycle

I'm taking the month of March off of everything except Tirz and GHKcu for a reset...going to research nootropics over the summer.

So, to the people who say peptides is voodoo snake oil (which are obviously not reading this), I say...really?
What incredible pictures! I'm continuing to read everything I can before deciding on my route, but you're motivating me!

I'm in the same boat. I was searching online for information about Ret and ended up here, since tirz has stopped working for me and I have no other options.

Amazing progress, this really inspires me! I always enjoy watching the wins people share in this community. Keep up the great work 🙂

Awesome work — share more photos when you can!

Anyone dealing with thyroid problems knows peptides can be a real blessing. The inflammation goes away quickly! I resemble Uncle Fester, so no pictures from me, though my outcome has been much the same.

Nice work. Please continue sharing your progress over the coming months—I want to see how much additional benefit is possible. Not that you require more, but we're all chasing that economies of scale curve.

This is fantastic! Those photos are great, and it's impressive how much healthier your skin and hair appear. How did your reset during March turn out? In April, did you restart any compounds? My regimen includes Tirz 3mg along with KLOW cycles. I have NAD+ on hand but haven't begun it yet, since I didn't want to introduce too many things simultaneously. Maybe I ought to just go ahead and start it.

First off—the proof is right there! Everything appears to be paying off!!! That said...I'm hungry for details now!

Did you run your GHK in cycles? Apologies if this has already been covered.
Nope, I don't do any cycling—I just keep going with it.

Do you apply any products straight onto your skin?

For me, skincare has been transformed by Generic Tretinoin cream plus Copper Peptide Serum from the Ordinary. I've just begun GHK-CU Subq, and NAD+ will be after that.
For my GHKcu serum, I whip it up myself from cosmetic grade GHKcu plus Hyaluronic Acid... Then there's a morning serum I also put together with GHKcu, Snap 8 and Sny-Ake alongside Hyaluronic Acid. Whether they actually do anything, I can't say, but mixing them is just a blast—like some mad scientist, with a milligram scale and vials scattered everywhere.
Hoping to mix my GHK for injections this weekend (life's chaos right now—balancing shoulder PT and the kids' sports!) but I'm still researching topical GHK and Snap 8—what amounts of each were you using?

Also, Syn-AKE has me intrigued. Finding it is a real challenge, and Making Cosmetics doesn't specify its concentration. Only instructions on how much to incorporate into a final product.

Gluttony has been feeling insecure because of me. It looks like you've set out to give Pride an inferiority complex. If that was you back in March, I can't imagine what state you'd be in now. Has anyone started to wonder whether an impostor has taken your place?

Are you combining all 3 of those into that serum? What amounts are you using for each?

Yeah, all 3 of them. I own a milligram scale, and while I'm still experimenting with different blends, typically I go with 5% GHKcu and 1% for the rest.

The change in hair color really intrigues me. I can't make sense of it whatsoever. It's not as though 12 weeks was enough for an entirely new head of hair to grow in, yet the gray keeps fading all over.
I had that same reaction...how could grey be reversing and my hair look so shiny without a full year of growth behind it?! Then I checked for myself, and it turns out that when follicles become healthy — and inflammation can do serious damage to them — the entire hair shaft is affected. That's likely where the Tirz and KLOW blend came in (lowering inflammation), since GHKcu does contribute to reducing inflammation somewhat, but it isn't the main workhorse the way those others are.

Another thing I learned: if someone is highly inflamed, GHKcu won't perform as well, so bringing that inflammation down is essential before GHKcu can do its job.

NAD+ could also be behind the hair regaining pigment, given what it does with sirtuins. If someone paired it with oral NMN, my guess is the result would be more pronounced.

A few months back I began NMN, and one unexpected effect has been a bit of repigmentation too.

That's fanfffntastic. Would you mind sharing your weight numbers and the timeline? A gentleman isn't supposed to ask...so I'm asking on behalf of a friend. He's also curious whether you're married?

Weight talk doesn't bother me at all, lol.

Starting weight on Tirz was 230 on Dec 1st, 2025

At the 8 week mark the scale showed 196

When I hit 12 weeks I was at 186

It's now 5 months since that 230 starting point, and I'm sitting at 162, which puts me just a smidge under 70lbs down.

I don't have a set-in-stone goal weight, somewhere in the neighborhood of 145 plus or minus 5lbs, though I'll call myself at goal around 150

I suspect I may be a hyper responder, since I've never hit a stall, never had to go above 5mg, and right now I'm working on tapering the dose down and moving to Reta for maintenance with a microdose of Tirz to keep appetite in check if it's needed.

Nice work! After researching for years, I finally began tirz roughly 3 weeks back. I'm really looking forward to following your health journey. Thymosin Alpha has gotten great reviews, so it's next on my list to look into. Hope to see you around.

Alright, it's been a few months, so here's a fresh update.

1. December 2025 (223lbs)

2. January 2026

3. March 2026

4. May 2026 (159lbs)

Once more, same spot, same lights, no makeup. 61 yr old female

Amazing outcome! You are motivating a large number of folks on here (myself as well)!

Wow, I'm genuinely blown away by how far you've come. You really do have a glow about you.

I'm going to look into NAD + and GHK-cu so I can get started. Thanks for letting us see your journey.
