About to place my very first grey market order. Not sure whether to go with R10 or R20 kits.

Currently on 3 mg. Been at it for 8 weeks.

20 is the preferable choice

Looking back at the testing data from the past few years, R30 seems to come up the most often in tests. That means joining group tests for R30 could cost you less, though you'd end up throwing part of it away. It's worth calculating how the price changes when you factor in group testing versus buying without it.

20.... no matter what, you'll be moving your dose up. If you somehow stayed put, one vial could last roughly 6.5 weeks, which is the cutoff I use before either finishing it or throwing it out. Before long you'll be taking 5 or 6mg, and at that point a vial survives under a month. Stick it in the freezer and take out 1 vial at a time.

My pick would be 30mg — that works out to 9 weeks, which sits within what I'm comfortable with, the per-mg price ought to be lower, and stepping up later is less of a pain.

When I began, R20 and R60 were what I bought, since R30 wasn't available. Before opening my first R60, I went through 3 R20 vials. Looking back, starting straight with R60 would have been fine.

Yet ordering a 20 could result in receiving a 10….

what???
I'm just kidding around about that one vendor who shipped 10mg rather than the 20mg Reta that was ordered (and looks like they mislabeled it too). It's a vendor I'm fond of.

R30, no matter your current dose. What matters is the dose you'll be on next month, and the one after that. Keep in mind that a grey market box contains 10 vials. That means fewer purchases to stress over, and fewer occasions where you have to finish one vial and then break into another to hit your dose.

20 would be my pick. My own journey began at zero with a starting dose of 1mg, which is why I went with 10 for that first purchase. These days, though, as my dose has gone up, I plan to move to 20mg vials. Since I'm thinking of capping out at 5mg, a 20mg vial lines up really well for me. That said, if I ever want to push beyond that, grabbing a 30mg or 40mg kit down the road doesn't seem like a problem...

I stick with 10mg orders only. Since my dose was 5mg, that meant a single vial would be used up in about 7 days. That suits me fine. It gives bacteria less chance to multiply inside the vial.

At the 10mg dose you're on right now, a single vial lasts you 3 weeks. Since your order includes 10 vials, my general advice would be to think ahead and choose the 20 — or perhaps even the 30.

Appreciate you all!

My first R20 order just went through. Can't wait!

One thing though — while it's still powder, what's the ideal spot to store it? A cool room, or the freezer / fridge?

One more thing before I wrap up. I'm aware endotoxin has been discussed around here. Looking at the COA for the R20, it listed endo results too, showing 3.4 EU/Vial. Is that something I should worry about, and should I maybe call off my order?

Again, I'm just starting out with this, so I appreciate the input!

30s? i ended up with 40s. i followed the standard titration, and now that i'm at the 4/5mg mark, dealing with the smaller vials has become more of a pain.

3.4eu a vial is practically negligible. A reading below 100 wouldn't even make me pause.
