Confirm your email address first. New members may browse, react, edit their profile, and post in Introduce Yourself while they unlock normal forum access.
- Choose a username that does not expose your real name, email address, or other identifying information.
- Use an email address you can access for confirmation and account security messages.
- Enter only a broad location, such as a country, state, or region. Do not publish a street address.
- Read the community rules and complete the required acknowledgements.
- New member: browse, react, edit your profile, and post only in Introduce Yourself.
- Member: publish a visible introduction thread or visit on three different days to unlock threads and replies in ordinary forums.
- Active member: after at least 7 registered days and 10 reaction points, you may also reply in managed vendor forums.
- Veteran: after at least 14 registered days and 50 reaction points, you retain all Active member permissions.
- Levels never grant supplier, commercial, moderator, or administrator privileges.
- Make the first post specific: explain the situation, what you have already tried, and what kind of feedback would help.
- Search before starting a duplicate discussion and post in the most relevant forum.
If you represent a business, service, affiliate program, sponsor, external community, or any other commercial interest, read the commercial content policy, disclose the relationship, and contact staff for approval before promotion.
Use the resend option if the confirmation email does not arrive, and check the spam folder first. Use Contact us for account access problems. Use Report on content that exposes private information, contains spam, or breaks the community rules.
