I was just permanently banned from Instagram with the option to "appeal" due to mentioning GLP1Chat in the comments section once or twice.

There have been strikes on the account in the past of course, I have a pretty big mouth.

No reason was given but GLP1Chat is the only crazy thing I've said on there recently. Kind of insane, since almost every ad I get is for peptide resellers.

Ha! I was just talking about this in another thread about hoarding Reta.

Think of it as the little push you needed to stop wasting time on bullshit apps like it.

Seriously, there's a part of me that looks forward to potentially being banned on IG. One time they suspended me for a little while and I had a wonderful couple of days.

Yeah, I really hate the scrolling but the behaviour isn't going to change until I modify my hardware. I need a smartphone alternative. Flip phone didn't work out because I need to text, if it had a real keyboard it might have worked. Next time I'll probably try a paper screen device.

Then I can relegate my smartphone to a stay at home time waster with a burner number attached so I can eventually cultivate accounts in good standing on Facebook, Instagram, Reddit, etc.

Could be for anything. Insta in infamous for going back and flagging old posts. I would think its more likely something you said awhile ago that just now got flagged.

Social media addiction is, of course, a real thing, but there are no actual benefits to this piss-poor addiction.

There can be benefits. Social media can become profitable, and it can also be a fun hobby. Obviously that's not the case currently.

Could be, but that isn't the impression I got. Who can say what the truth may be.

of course..but exceptions and rules, and all that. The bleating on social media should cause CTE, am sure.

The first rule of fight club is…

Streisand Effect always wins. Censorship hasn't worked for pirated movies, 3d printer blueprints, video games, or anything else. This kind of thing proves that someone with money/power is afraid.
