For those using CJC without DAC, what made you pick that version instead of CJC-DAC?

It seems like nearly everyone in the peptide space leans toward CJC no DAC rather than CJC-DAC, and that has always struck me as odd since CJC-DAC has a large amount of medical literature behind it. That research shows average gh rising by 200%-1000%, igf-1 going up by 150%-300% over baseline… and you only need to dose it once a week rather than 2-3 times a day…. It also doesn’t require stacking with a ghrp such as ipamorelin to produce its effects.

I’m just curious what your reasoning is and why you went with the option you did

The answer is already in what you asked. That is the reason people steer clear of it. Under normal circumstances, the body releases GH in pulses that come and go. Having GH released steadily and without pause is, in the best case, unnatural, and in the worst case, too much. Therefore, when a secretagogue keeps driving the pituitary to make somatotropin nonstop, there is a risk of GH levels becoming excessive. My understanding is that this is why it is only advised for those whose GH or IGF output is severely low.

I can think of 2 main reasons someone would choose CJC1295 with DAC.

  1. When taken weekly, CJC1295 with DAC keeps GH pulsatile while also raising the baseline GH level in the body. More details here: https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/17018654.
  2. Every clinical trial published in medical journals uses CJC1295 with DAC.
As for being stuck with side effects for many days, that is exactly why you should always start low and titrate up. The same applies to Reta and other weekly peps. Take too much too soon and you will be in a world of pain.

Dr Trevor recently put out a video where he suggests using it with dac. Because of that, I might have gone ahead and placed an order for some, along with some ipa

Dr Trevor puts out solid content, though he isn't immune to errors and should be verified.

In one of his videos that I saw https://rumble.com/v7895x0-the-ulti...vor-bachmeyer.html?e9s=src_v1_sa,src_v1_ucp_v, his position is that CJC1295 No DAC is the required choice, and he points to a 2006 clinical paper by Teichman as support. Reading that research, however, shows it is CJC1295 With DAC.
