Why are we still shipping to Czech Republic for peptide testing in 2026?

Why does the US not have a trusted peptide testing facility that ven dors will actually stand behind?

Janoshik has earned its reputation. Ven dors reimburse for it, consumers trust it, and results are public. People in the US are literally shipping samples overseas just to get testing that means something. That should not be the reality for the largest peptide consuming market in the world.
 
I think that beyond Janoshik's proven excellence, his info is pretty well insulated from the reach of US government agencies and their subpoena powers.

Because it’s exceptionally hard to get permission to be importing the type of things they can in Czechia and running tests on them. They have considered it. He has a recent podcast with Derek Decoded where talks about this.
 
Janoshik's proven their reliability over time but there are some well regarded (and some not so well regarded labs) in the US. I think TrustPointe and Freedom Diagnostics are considered solid.

Super valid point, and as others have said, hopefully somewhere more domestic for us might earn enough clout for that golden seal of approval, but I think Ted R nailed it… the government/big pharma oversight/reach is an issue.
 
Until sellers accept someone else's test results it's a waste of money to use anyone else if you think you have an issue.

True in regard to trying to get a refund perhaps, but definitely not a waste of money if you’re just testing for your own safety and edification.

We have decent domestic labs. Ven dors just conveniently ignore them when the results are inconvenient. The labs exist. The trust doesn't. That's a ven dor accountability problem not a science problem. We need a U.S. Lab that is validated so we can do our testing there and get reimbursement from ven dors if the results are negative.

When does that change?
 
We have labs in the US but vendors want Jano for replacement guarantees. I don't think they are even the gold standard anymore. Until that changes, any other lab is an also-ran.
 
I've used Freedom Diagnostics and Trust...I would probably only use Janoshik for a large order as that is the only one my vendors will reship/reimburse on...I prefer that faster turn around with US based Freedom or Trust.
 
Just yesterday, we got definitive proof that AFI, a US "lab" failed multiple blind tests.

Freedom Labs' COAs are not verifiable by default (which makes it hard to know if a COA is fake or not), and their endotoxin test is a joke (simple pass/fail).

The hard truth is that most US labs are not good enough, and they need to do better. They also need to differentiate themselves better. Ironically, the only other lab I would consider is Uzorak, another non-US lab, with a differentiated product (HPC-MS/MS).

Did you use Freedom for Endo testing? I've been researching their USP86 pass/fail process. Seems like a pass is good but a fail doesn't give any room for deciding next steps since you dont know how badly the test failed.

Read up on fda limits for endotoxin results. The reason pass/fail doesn't even make sense for that test is because the FDA limits are partly based on a subject's weight. The result itself of this standard is not a simple pass or fail, but some kind of endotoxin number, like eu/mg for example. I don't know what freedom is doing, but if you're not getting a numerical result, then they're probably not following USP86
 
I've just started reading. Most of what I found said they use 70kg as the weight for calculation with recommendation to use less for kids. Still I agree a measured value has more meaning than pass/fail. Thanks for the info.

This is definitely one of the key factors. No one wants the government using their subpoena powers to get a copy of the list of American citizens' information that was sent in with testing.

I put more trust in the Chinese grey market than I do the government.

Yep it's sad when our own country is as much of an enemy to us as a foreign one.
