I came across a peptide called EB613 that's currently in Phase 3 clinical trials for forming new bone. A peptide being able to do something like that seems pretty interesting to me. Is there a peptide that interests you in a similar way, but that doesn't get much discussion here on the Forum?

OGP is the one that hardly anyone in this community ever mentions.

It's a short peptide that was pulled from regenerating bone marrow during the 90s. Its sequence is essentially the leftover tail end of histone H4, which means the body is somehow converting DNA packaging waste into a signal for bone growth. According to animal studies, it genuinely builds bone and accelerates fracture repair. It's been in the literature for ages and virtually never comes up in these discussions. Strange little thing.

My pick would be 5AM. Yes, I realize it isn't technically a peptide, so the "well actually" crowd can hold off. Still, I barely ever see it discussed or mentioned. It's part of my routine and does amazing things for my "energy" levels. After running it for roughly 8 weeks I came off it, and the truth is I miss it more than anything else I've ever cycled.

What's actually novel is just the oral version of teriparatide, sold as EB613. For many decades now, the injectable version of teriparatide has been prescribed for osteoporosis, particularly when fracture risk is high, under brand names such as Forteo (US), Forsteo (EU), or generic products marketed under various other names. It remains to be determined whether taking it orally offers any benefits over injections apart from being more convenient.
