What's causing the widespread shortage of stock?

For most items besides tirz and reta, US inventory is quite scarce.

My take is that several factors have collided: peptide popularity has never been higher thanks to RFK and tiktok, Chinese New Year happened recently, customs seizures have increased, and there was that April week when nothing shipped out of China.
 
They experienced a 1 week shipping halt out of China, and after that it was simply Chinese Labor Day spanning May 1-5, so vendors are now trying to catch up, and a few are relying on newly established shipping routes that need more time.

Do you figure this is going to mess with our ability to source the peps we require? Should we be hoarding for the coming apocalypse, or will it just go back to normal shipments once they sort it out and this is merely one more wave in the perfect storm?

As long as you don't mind ordering from Chinese warehouses, you can basically source anything you're after. Every one of my regular vendors keeps solid inventory in their CN facilities. I stockpile Reta and HGH, but for things such as KLOW I begin checking suppliers once I'm at a 3 month supply. That approach keeps me from stressing over delivery windows or the chance of customs seizure. (Hasn't occurred yet, knock on wood)

It'll probably be a few months before US warehouses restock, and odds are none of them will cover everything you need in 1 place. On top of that, summer is approaching, which tends to push demand higher.

Nope, there’s actually an abundance of supply in China—it simply takes some time to reach US warehouses since shipments arrive in bulk. When you order gray, waiting is just part of the process. Give it about 1 or 2 weeks and they ought to be fully caught up. A handful of my GBs have even moved faster than they did before all the recent problems.
 
My guess is that supply will settle down again, but sellers could become pickier about how they ship, and that could stretch out wait times. As long as Lilly doesn't lean hard on congress regarding all the GLPs being imported, I expect the situation to recover.

Even so, I'd hold onto my reserves (and keep them topped up) to be safe.

Over the Labor Day holiday, shipping appears to have been paused from May 1 through 5, as far as I know. One of my items went out from within the US around that period, while another was dispatched from abroad on 4/30.
 
For me, US warehouses are the way to go—shipping is quicker, and while the price can be a bit higher compared to items shipped from CN, the tradeoff is worth it: 4-7 days versus 3-5 weeks.

A handful of vendors do carry sufficient inventory, or at least that's been my experience. 🤷
 
US-based warehouses have made folks assume there's zero danger involved, which cements the idea that anything can be grabbed whenever you want it, just like on The Zon.

Most likely, they will only carry items that move steadily and fast. If what you're after isn't Tz or Rta, then CN is the route to take, or join a GB. I realize it's tougher, particularly for people just starting with grey, to accept a $90 shipping charge, and even tougher when you're only buying 1 or 2 kits. I'm not brushing off that frustration. Even after paying it, I still end up spending way less than OOP for BP.
 
According to what my CN supplier told me, getting big orders into US warehouses has become difficult for them because US Customs is enforcing tougher inspection rules.
