Share your initial objective and whether you hit it. Hearing about this can be useful for lots of people, since it shows how physical and psychological aims can be reached using GLP-1s and other peptides.

I'll go first:

I'm a 48-year-old man from Spain, and I lived in the US (Florida) between 2021 and 2025. My move there was for work, and my eating habits became awful, so I put on more than 10 kg.

In 2022 I was diagnosed with hypogonadism and began TRT, which I still use. That got me back into the gym, and by following a proper diet I was able to bring my weight down to 96 kg with 25% body fat.

My Retatrutide treatment began in January, and I aimed for 15% body fat while adding muscle. Right now I'm at 14% body fat and seeing amazing body recomposition.

Nice job! Recomposition is my aim too. I stand 6'4" and topped out at 390lbs; I got myself down to 330, and after beginning Reta at the end of March I'm now at 310. I keep up gym sessions 3-4 times weekly with heavy lifting, walk 4-5 miles daily, and make sure nutrition and sleep are solid. My weight is distributed evenly and I've got decent muscle, so I feel good about the recomp. Within a year I ought to be in a solid place.

Physique-wise, I look like Humpty Dumpty.

I need to get rid of the deep belly fat, and fast.

My starting weight was 218 pounds. Through "diet-and-exercise" I got down to about 200, then hit a wall for 1 year.

Rather than begin with 'GLP1' or 'GLP2', I figured why not jump straight to the hot new 'Reta'?

Over New Year I moved up the doses to 2mg - and I got the full menu of side effects: reflux, slow digestion, sulfur burps, itching in strange spots (yet ravenously hungry), the works - only no weight came off.

February turned into a miserable month. I went up to 4mgs, and dealt with high blood pressure, a racing heartbeat, and awful sleep.

March was even worse.

Right now I'm on 12mgs and weigh 197 lbs. (Yesterday the scale said 198!)

At this stage it's purely for vanity. My only aim is to show up looking better than anyone else when my 30th high school reunion happens later this year.

I'm chasing a visible six-pack and fitting into size 30 jeans. Right now, I'm close to a full six pack, and my 32s already feel loose. That's decent for someone 5,9 and 200 pounds, especially since I weighed 270 a year and a half ago. Also, I'll turn 51 in under a week.

At this stage, I've thankfully got my nutrition, training and supplementation all locked in.

Process > Outcome, keep feeding the machine.

Initially, I wanted to shed 20 lbs, and I hit that mark. At this point, my aim is to have the speed to escape and/or deliver a flying kick to robots once the new world order takes over. Thank goodness for GH secretagogues. 💪

Nothing but straight-up vanity, honestly. I can't even feel embarrassed about it, since I stopped believing in myself ages and ages ago. The place I'm aiming for is one I've never deliberately reached….so beyond "how I want to look," I don't have much to say.

Plus a bonus of no longer feeling like death is about a month away. Those years were brutal.
