What helps fatigue from Tirz?

Being really diligent about hydration the day before my shot, then continuing that through the day of and the day after, made a huge difference for me.

I ended up shifting which day I take it, since I noticed my water consumption is much higher when I'm at work compared to being at home or running around. Taking it on Friday or Saturday had become a reason for me to just lounge around and accomplish nothing the following day lol.

On pin day plus 1 day after, my morning starts with juice—1 cup—and I stir in an extra packet of sugar. My PCP suggested this approach, and from Month 1 onward it has worked like a charm. Regular full sugar versions of things like Gatorade are the only ones that do anything; the other kinds don't help.

Since you already know the Tz is what's causing your fatigue, adding more peps isn't something I'd suggest—low blood sugar is the most likely culprit. It seems to slip people's minds that these are diabetic meds...their whole point is to bring your blood sugar down dramatically. A monitor could let you check, but I never got around to getting 1.

Keep in mind that eating more can be a simple answer to fatigue—your body needs fuel, and carbs are the preferred kind, to feel energized. On the day you take Tz, try raising your carbs and see whether anything changes. Getting a full high-carb meal down on pin day can be tough sometimes, which is why my PCP said liquids are the way to go...even soda works (caffeine + sugar combo is great). Protein, IMO, is overhyped and does NOT fix fatigue; its role is maintaining muscle, and honestly I think that's a post-WL concern.
Thanks! I appreciate you making me feel better about those sugary lavender matcha lattes from Starbucks that I drank after my injection day! hahah.

Great suggestions and advice all around.

Not long ago I heard a Rich Roll podcast featuring Simon Hill, and his take pushes back against the protein craze. According to several studies he cites, ordinary intake levels suffice when resistance training is present, and extra protein without resistance training neither shields nor grows muscle.
