I keep botching my attempts to reconstitute cagri using AA. First I added AA into cagri that had already been mixed with hospira, and the result was cloudy. Next I put the AA in first, followed by the bac, and again it went cloudy and never fully dissolved. Finally I pulled 0.5 AA and then 2.5 hospira into one syringe and injected that into the cagri, but it also became cloudy and did not dissolve completely. With hospira alone everything is fine, yet I want to be as safe as I can regarding the fibrils issue.

ETA. I have gone through 3 vials.

Have you checked what the pH of the solution is? That is where I would begin. Begin with hospira by itself and check the pH. After that, introduce AA a little at a time until the pH sits at about 4. Testing pH is not optional. There are times when hospira on its own is already sitting at a pH of 5 with nothing added, in which case you would only require a tiny quantity of AA.

For my own part, I finish a vial inside a week, and I have not noticed any gelling, cloudiness, or anything else worth mentioning, so I gave up on the entire AA approach. If a vial were going to last me beyond a month, I would likely be more cautious.

I haven't checked the pH so far, but that's where I'll begin. My plan is to go through roughly 1 vial each month.

For me, bac water alone works without issue. Hospira comes in at a pH of 5.7. I've stuck with nothing but bac for more than a year at this point.

Have you considered switching to another AA manufacturer? A 0.6% solution I ordered from amazon was used to prepare a 50%aa/50% BAC vial just yesterday, and the result is completely transparent. When I checked amazon to share the product link with you, it appears every listing for 'pharmacy grade' AA has disappeared, which is unfortunate. Even so, I would recommend finding AA from a different source, since that appears to be the issue.

My experience matches that. So far I've only gone through 1 vial, yet mixing it with Hospira gave me no problems at all. I used Nexaph 10mg and 3ml of Hospira.
