It's pretty easy to find. Has anyone been doing research with this peptide? There's a connection to Rheumatoid Arthritis.

I've got RA, and I gave VIP a shot. Honestly, I didn't notice any effect from it. My route was IN rather than SubQ.

Where I've mostly come across it is within the Shoemaker protocol, which addresses CIRs—also called sick building disease—triggered by mould. Those dealing with ME/CFS, Long Covid, or Fibromylgia could discover that what they actually have is CIRs, and VIP is used in that context, since the symptom pictures for all of them appear quite alike.

For roughly 4 months now, I've been on VIP at 200mcg per day, injected subcutaneously. I'm getting ready to stop for 1 month. That's partly due to it appearing to be what the recommended protocol calls for, and partly due to supply — I'm almost out, and I can't obtain more until I'm back home.

My reason for starting was impulsive: I'd heard it brought BP down substantially, and high BP is something I deal with, particularly at my yearly work physicals (they tell me I have severe white coat syndrome).

It didn't do anything for me on that front specifically, but enough of the other benefits it appears to offer appealed to me that I've stuck with it. (Neuroprotective, leaky gut, asthma, COPD, autoimmune). I also had awful ankle/foot pain with rheumatoid arthritis symptoms, and that has gotten noticeably better across the past 6 moths.

Could the cause be Tirz and 55lbs of weight loss? Likely. The BPC/TB500? Probably yes as well. GHK-Cu for joint pain? Also likely? The VIP? Possibly.

Since I'm doing a bunch of things at once, pinpointing what's helping is hard, but the improvement has been nothing short of remarkable.

I do the same thing, except I take 100mcg in the morning and 100mcg at night, since the flushing hits me pretty hard.

Same here, though lowering BP isn't why I do it.

Those effects are something I'd like to get too. To be honest, there wasn't a single clear reason behind my decision to start. It simply seemed like a wonder drug that could potentially solve every issue I had.

I can't wait to return in a few months and share news of the miracles.

In your experience, has VIP helped with your RA? A friend of mine deals with RA, and I want to find a peptide that could be effective for her.

Pinning down which one contributed most isn't straightforward.

Alongside VIP, my stack includes BPC/TB500, Tirz, GHK-Cu, and collagen taken orally. If I had to rank them, VIP wouldn't crack my top 3 — though in line with how I look at this whole space, each piece probably adds a little something.

If I'm honest, the biggest jump on its own seemed to come from the Tirz. Whether that was purely down to dropping weight, I can't say.

One last thing: I've never had an official RA diagnosis. When my knee surgeon was repairing 2 torn/blown menisci, he told me the arthritis in my knees was the "worst he had ever seen." So everything I'm sharing is anecdotal at most.

Still — what a difference 7 months makes! I really wish Tirz and similar options had existed decades ago!

Rheumatoid Arthritis has my aunt in a bad way and nothing has helped. I was hoping someone here might have a suggestion for her.

One week in on VIP nasal spray. My mental energy has been getting better and better as time goes on. I can't claim it's working yet — I'd need to follow it through the entire course before saying anything more — but there haven't been any sides, so no regrets up to this point.

Five days per week I use 300mcg, following an 8-weeks-on, 2-weeks-off pattern. My 149th dose has just been taken. Right after the subQ shot, my nose starts running and my face flushes bright red. Overall it may give a little energy boost, though I can't say for certain.

A friend of mine does 1mg in the morning and insists it gives him enormous energy.

Exactly this! I've compared the feeling to Popeye popping open his can of spinach — BINGGG!! — and then it spreads down my arms and over my chest. That's with my original 200mcg dose! I can't picture what 1mg would do!

These days I'm on 333mcg/Daily, and with repeated dosing the effect has definitely become more subtle.
