VIP (Vasoactive Intestinal Peptide)

Fairly widely available, is anyone researching with this peptide? It relates to Rheumatoid Arthritis.

I have RA and I tried VIP. I can't say that it did anything for me. I did IN, not SubQ.

The main place I have seen it is in the Shoemaker protocol for CIRs aka sick building disease which is caused by mould. People who have ME/CFS, Long Covid, Fibromylgia might find its actually CIRs with VIP use as they all look pretty similar on symptoms.

I've been taking VIP at 200mcg daily SQ; have been for about 4 months. About to go off for 1 month. Partly because that seems to be the recommended protocol, partly because I'm running out and can't get any more till I return home.

I started it on a whim when I heard it significantly lowered BP, and I struggle with high BP especially during my annual work physicals (I have severe white coat syndrome they tell me).

While it didn't help me for that specifically, I liked enough of the other benefits it seems to provide that I have continued it. (Neuroprotective, leaky gut, asthma, COPD, autoimmune). I also had terrible ankle/foot pain symptomatic of rheumatoid arthritis, which has improved markedly over the past 6 moths.

Side effect of Tirz and 55lbs Weight loss? Likely. The BPC/TB500? Probably also yes. GHK-Cu for joint pain? Likely as well? The VIP? Could be.

I'm doing a bunch of things so it's hard to pinpoint what's helping, but the improvement has been nothing short of remarkable.

Same, but split dose 100mcg am and pm as the flushing was/is quite severe for me.

Same, but not for lowering BP.

I’m hoping to benefit from those effects as well. I honestly didn’t have one clear reason for starting it. It just sounded like a wonder drug that might somehow fix all my problems.

Looking forward to coming back in a few months and reporting on the miracles.

Would you say that VIP has made a difference to your RA? I have a friend who has RA and I'm looking to get a peptide that will work for her.

It's hard to say what made the most difference.

I take BPC/TB500 as well as Tirz, GHK-Cu, oral collagen, and VIP. I wouldn't put VIP in the top 3, but much like how I view everything in this sphere, I think everything plays a small part.

I'd have to say I noticed the largest single improvement from the Tirz itself. And that may have just been from the weight loss alone, I don't know.

As a final note, I've never been "diagnosed" with RA. My Arthroscopic surgeon for my knees said I had the "worst arthritis he had ever seen" on my knees when he was fixing 2 blown/torn meniscus's. So what I've experienced is anecdotal at best.

But wow, what a difference 7 months makes! I truly wish Tirz et al came along decades earlier!
