Thought I'd put down a few ideas (and naturally collect a few takes too) about the fat loss side of things.
I started digging into particular peps that are aimed at fat loss or are claimed to help with it, and clearly I'm not alone in that - particularly while running Reta. A few folks seem to bring up tesa, but as far as I grasp it that one goes after visceral fat, and I suspect not everyone realises what that actually means.
VF is the fat stored deep around the organs, whereas subcutaneous fat sits beneath the skin - the kind you can grab. Based on what I've been through, shedding visceral fat comes down to changing how you eat. Plenty of protein, fibre, fruit, veg, enough water, cutting back on the processed items and staying… chances are you'll see some shift across roughly a month since it comes off more easily. Certain scales sold online can track this for you, plus your water %, body fat %, muscle mass %, subq% and metabolic rate.
FYI - nobody can spot VF just by looking at someone. Plenty of people are really slim and look fantastic yet carry high VF levels
Subcutaneous fat… tougher to shift and spot reduction isn't possible, which is definitely frustrating, but in much the same way putting protein first, strength training, cardio and sufficient sleep are supposed to help…. It just drags on foreverrrr. (Some spots are genuinely stubborn for me too, so I get the struggle)
I know metabolism has a role in both, so it's always worth attempting to reset it
Keen to hear what anyone thinks!
