One week on reta is all it took, and both my wife and I already feel like different people.
Signing up here so I can actually learn something and look after myself properly.
The statin prescription I got recently was the warning shot. At 58yrs old, with my father gone after a stroke at 61 and countless mini strokes in between, I have no intention of going out the same way.
The appetite is simply gone, and with it years of fighting to get my eating in order. These days food is fuel on a schedule, not a craving I answer.
Gym sessions finally feel worth it rather than obligatory — there's something to show for them now.
Eager to soak up whatever the collective wisdom here has to offer.
