Was in the overweight bracket before. Right now my BMI sits at roughly 23, which counts as healthy, and caliper measurements put my body fat around 18%. It feels like merely glancing at a carb makes me gain. Low carb, high fat worked well for me, though keeping it up is a challenge. Tirz also gave me good results. Ozempic came with far too many side effects. Because of my BMI, getting access is a real struggle. I want to keep the weight off. Maybe shed a little more. Being lighter makes me feel much better

At BMI 23 with 18% body fat, your stats seem fairly reasonable — though it's not my place to make that call. What are you hoping to achieve?

Given those figures, I'd guess the healthcare system won't be footing the bill for you. That's the access issue you're talking about, right?

You're probably already aware, but this forum is a solid resource for finding out about alternative routes to get what you need. Glad to have you here!

Appreciate it. Since I'm in the UK, funded GLPs are completely out of reach for me. The bar is set extremely high. A BMI of 40 kg/m² or above is required, plus a minimum of 4 health conditions tied to obesity (for example type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure, or heart disease). Even going the self-funded route, I still don't qualify. To self fund, your BMI has to exceed 30, or exceed 27 with at least 1 weight-related condition. My height is 6ft3 and I weigh 88kg. I'd be curious to know how 82 would feel
