type 1 has been my diagnosis for a long stretch (43 years in, and still counting), and the last couple of years have brought insane insulin resistance.
type 1 is the diagnosis, but type 2 symptoms are tacked on as well, with metabolic dysfunction and my weight to blame.
My doctor has wanted me on tirzepatide for a long while, and a brief two month trial proved it life changing. Compounded tirzepatide is what I recently started (neither Mounjaro nor Zepbound will be covered, despite the prescription and my doctor fighting my corner), but it struck me as far more sustainable, both on price and for long term storage.
Good lots are what I'm looking to buy and put away for the future, since supplies of all this stuff look like they could get harder to come by.
Picking things up from you all, and the better health this treatment should bring, is what I'm really looking forward to.
