Twice-daily KPV instead of once a day?

Has anyone in this community run KPV at 2 doses per day to address inflammation?

My current routine is 1 dose daily, and the results have been decent, though I suspect there’s still potential for a better outcome. I’m considering moving up to 2 doses per day to check whether that gives more benefit.

On top of that, I have Achilles tendonitis and BHP, so I’d really like to know whether anyone saw a change with those issues in particular. Thanks.

KPV doesn't cause many problems. For 3 months straight, I used 500 mcg daily, then paused for 1 month. Its safety profile is very good, and certain protocols list doses as high as 2 mg per day. My approach would be to use the smallest amount that still helps, tailored to your tendonitis. For sudden inflammation, splitting the dose into 2 administrations per day should be fine.

From my own experience, BPC157/TB500 gave me more relief for tendonitis than KPV did .. that said, I still like KPV too.

I came across this and thought it explained the topic well. https://pep-pedia.org/peptides/kpv

Once a day is already a big ask in my book. Going at it several times daily is a hard no for me!
When I first began this, I expected to be more resistant to it, but honestly it doesn't bother me at all. Pretty wild for someone who has such a strong fear of needles.

That's genuinely impressive to me! I assumed once-a-week Tirz would be a challenge, and with pens in particular it's become a non-issue now. When I gave daily shots a go, I could handle it, though it wasn't something I looked forward to. If there were a clearly worthwhile reason, I could push myself to do 2 shots per day, but for anything with shakier evidence behind it, that's still not something I'd consider.

Daily injections aren't anyone's idea of fun, but after some time they become routine—it's all about willpower.

6 days into KPV for me, and I'm still waking up at night to urinate, though the stream does feel stronger. There's also a lump on my Achilles tendon, and it looks like it's shrinking. These aren't dramatic shifts, but I'm hoping the peptide does some good. I'm 73. My plan is to stop after 20 days at 500mcg daily—the constant injections have already worn me down. With Reta, 1 shot per week is plenty for me.

Like most peptides that haven't been modified, its half-life in blood is extremely short — just minutes. That said, absorption isn't immediate, and in subcutaneous tissue it probably breaks down more slowly than in circulation, so the effective half-life measured from the moment of absorption could range from roughly 30 minutes up to several hours. On those grounds, splitting the dose across the day is reasonable. Many endogenous peptides are dosed at levels far above what the body naturally produces, which suggests you don't necessarily need large amounts around the clock — occasional big pulses, like what once-daily dosing gives you, may be enough to produce an effect.

I looked into KPV myself, since there's some indication it helps with ulcerative colitis. But in the end, all of the studies centered on KPV attached to other molecules designed to help it survive passage through the digestive tract, and there's virtually nothing examining KPV by itself.

Beyond that, actual human trial data is unfortunately absent. So there's no real science behind human dosing.
