TRT - Luer Lock Waste

Don't worry about the excess. Draining a drop of test back into the vial doesn't seem worth the trouble and could pose a contamination risk.

If you're running out of test, your prescription is wrong or you're reading it wrong. Your Dr wouldn't short you.

I am a bit naughty but it’s worked for years for me. I use a 3ml leur lock. Draw 2ml using a 25ga. Switch to a 29ga 1/2” needle. Inject 25iu every other day (62.5mg test cyp). Use the same needle four times until dull and switch to a new 29ga. Four more and dispose of it all. I just make sure to be very clean and wipe down everything. It’s worked for me and I go through two syringes and 5 needles a month.

Best practice is never to store meds in a syringe. New needle every injection. That’s 15 syringes and 30 needles a month. I like my way better.

I use ~$2/month in syringes to inject .25ml of test 3x weekly with fresh equipment each time. Works for me.

I’ve been on TRT for 9 years (since I was 51). Started with SynergenX for the first 2 years (weekly in-office injections). Learned the ropes and got everything lined out (test, HCG, anastrozole). Switched to TRT Nation and do mail order ever since (it’s about 60% of the price compared to SynergenX and much more convenient to inject at home). 80 mg (40 units) twice per week sub Q using 29 gauge 1/2” syringes. It’s slow to draw, but works well enough. 30 units HCG twice per week. 0.5 mg anastrozole (orally) twice per week 24 hours after injections. Keeps my T level between 1000 - 1200, estrogen between 25 - 30, and no gonad shrinkage. TRT Nation supplies 10 weeks at a time, but lets you reorder at 8 weeks. So you can easily build up a bit extra and never worry about running out. I do labs twice per year. Once through TRT Nation, and once with my annual physical at my PCP office. Just need to track hormone levels, hematocrit, and PSA.

It's definitely worth keeping a stock of UGL. Even if you wanted to strictly use pharma test, starting with a couple of vials of UGL will get you a decent ways ahead of the wastage curve that you probably wouldn't have to worry about it for a few years. It's crazy cheap! I get China UGL for $15 a 10ml vial of 250mg/ml. I also have a prescription for compounded that I stockpile and use for travel. I have also stockpiled a couple years worth of the UGL at my 150mg TRT dose with a little extra for the occasional blast. It's so cheap that I cant think of a reason not to have enough to weather any storm or crisis. I'm going to keep about 5 years worth on hand like I do with my peptides.

Well, TRT Kingdom wouldn't provide quantities over the Rx dose to account for usage loss. Also, they wouldn't provide an Rx to a local pharmacy to keep me on track while awaiting the shipment, AND their pharmacy is about a week behind on processing. So, between all delays and shipping times, it would likely be on the better side of two weeks before getting my meds.

Luckily, I found an online provider (super janky) that would send an Rx to my local pharmacy the same day. So, now I have 10 1/mL vials, and my order by mail is coming in the next week or two. So, not missing a dose, thankfully. Good to know there's a same-day option for being in a pinch.

Appreciate all the input and recommendations. Backup supply is in the works. This shall not happen again!
