Lilly released an 80-week study yesterday that compares Retatrutide (Reta) against Ozempic for HbA1c reduction and weight loss in people with type 2 diabetes.
What stands out to me is that HbA1c reduction shows no difference between the 9 mg and 12 mg Retatrutide doses, and weight-loss results are only marginally better at the higher dose. My guess is that once Retatrutide is approved, 9 mg will end up being regarded as the maximum effective therapeutic dose.

Lilly's retatrutide delivered greater A1C reduction and more than double the weight loss of Ozempic's highest approved dose in head-to-head trial
