I just finished university and live in Toronto, Canada. For years my weight has gone up and down. I’ve dropped pounds, put them back on, cycled through several diets, and never landed on anything lasting. Being South Asian means insulin resistance is a bigger concern for me, and with my family history I’ve started treating my health as a priority. Diabetes runs in the family—my dad has it—and in the past I’ve dealt with high cholesterol, elevated liver enzymes, and mild fatty liver. I’m active and play sports, but right now I’m at 95 kg at 186 cm, the heaviest I’ve ever been.
My doctor looked at my situation and brought up Mounjaro, which is how I ended up here. I already ordered from a vendor with a warehouse in Canada to do some “research,” but honestly I regret it a bit since I didn’t confirm there was a recent testing report. I’ll keep researching to find something both safe and affordable.
