Tolerance reset

For someone taking high doses (12mg+/wk), how long would a full tolerance reset take, in your estimation?

If I were in that position, my thinking is that once I hit my goal weight, I'd want to try bringing my tolerance back down to a starting dose. Going cold turkey would likely make it hard to avoid regaining a lot of weight, but if you could keep things steady for a few months... your maintenance dose could end up much lower and cheaper.

My guess (with nothing to back it up) would be 3 months.

GLPs don't function that way.

Once you hit your goal, you could attempt stepping the dose down the same way you stepped it up, and you might end up on a smaller maintenance dose — but nothing is being "reset," and you shouldn't count on 2mg holding you in maintenance. If it turns out that dose does work for you, great! Still, the only way to find out is to keep an eye on your weight and how you feel while you taper down.
