There is no one standard ratio. It comes down heavily to individual preferences.

My GLP week is 8mg Tirzepatide + 6mg Retatrutide, divided like this:

Monday evening & Friday morning > 4mg Tirz

Wednesday evening & Sunday morning > 3mg Reta
That works out close to a 2:1 ratio.

What was your titration of each peptide? Which dosing schedule did you use?

8:6 works out at 1.33:1, which is nearer 1:1 than 2:1.

I suspect what is happening here is that observations are being fitted to a theory you already hold — that has a name, confirmation bias.

Broadly, people pile on whatever they believe they need on top of what they already take, chasing some mix of effects. Hardly any of it is scientific; it runs on hunches and impressions.

My own combination is 20mg of Reta plus .25-.375mg of Sema. Swapping the Sema for Tirz has crossed my mind. To get an equivalent result I would guess 2.5-5mg/week of Tirz would be required, which is a 1:4 ratio at best.
2:1 is only where I started from, not a rule set in stone — it is what the gray market blends I looked at seem to use.

Obviously, if one peptide on its own is giving you a good result, there is no reason to bring in a second.

But suppose someone intends to run both from day one — which pairing would serve them best?

Starting out on a GLP by stacking seems to me to have no real justification.

I came from 7.5mg Mounjaro before I began adding Retatrutide (and swapping Mounjaro out for grey Tirzepatide.

Adding Reta went like this:

2 weeks @ 1mg

4 weeks @ 2 mg

3mg after that.

For a few weeks I ran 8mg Reta/6mg Tirz, but I prefer the proportions the other way around — better appetite suppression.
Currently at 7.5mg of tirz, and as of today I have added 1mg of reta. Rather than taking the tirz higher I chose to stack, since I want the glucagon arm in the mix.

Has anyone tips or things worth watching out for?

Is the plan to break a stall, or is there some other reason you want to bring it in?

My approach would be to climb gradually toward 4mg, so that the glucagon effect is fully engaged, provided the side effects stay tolerable. After that, hold at that level for as long as the scale keeps falling.

Rushing to the top of the dose range never appealed to me, and it still does not. Splitting every dose is another habit of mine, which is why I have avoided both rough side effects and the end-of-week fade.

Both have been in my stack for many months now, though I pin them on alternating days so that each one gets room of its own.

Right now that works out to 2.28 of Tirz and 1.31 of Reta ( those decimals exist because each is pinned every 4 days rather than weekly, so what I am giving is a weekly average). Reta stays the lower of the two because my heart rate climbs on it and I no longer need as much weight loss. At the peak I was around 2.25 of each per week.

What counts as slow in your view? My own idea was to give it 3-4 weeks, then go up.

Stuck at the same weight for 2 weeks now, and the hunger is out of control!!

Sounds like a solid approach 👍

Calling that a plateau may be generous, but I agree the hunger alone would push me to change something.

What bothers me is the hunger itself. My clothes keep getting looser, my measurements keep shrinking and I am moving around more. My guess is that fat is coming off while muscle is going on, which would explain why the scale refuses to budge. That part does not trouble me.

Food noise is not the problem here — I am simply very hungry
