For men who have type 2 diabetes, Tirz appears to bring about an improvement in ED. Beyond shedding pounds, GLPs are truly a game changer.

The percentages look much the same and probably mean little next to the rest. Calling it game changing seems like a stretch to me.

When I said game changing, I was referring to additional research on GLPs — such as a striking decrease in fatty liver, and now ED. More findings will arrive before long showing many advantages that go past weight loss.
 
There appear to be solid grounds for thinking these medications could be useful for many conditions. That said, nearly all of the testing so far has involved individuals carrying extra weight, and dropping pounds improves just about everything. Researchers are working to figure out which other benefits are real, but without trials in people who are already at a healthy weight, the answer will stay out of reach. My best guess is that roughly half of the conditions they suspect it might help with will actually pan out.

Clinical trials focused specifically on addiction are underway at this time.

In my view, tirzepatide is nothing short of a wonder drug — it addresses not just weightloss but a wide range of other conditions too. That's why I'm on board with calling it a game changer. Still, assuming this comes from the particular study I have in mind, one caveat matters: those findings apply to men who have T2DM, not to the male population at large. I'd really like to read the article, though my work account won't let me open it. Beyond that, I tend to be skeptical of medical research that leans entirely on massive databases to infer associations. From what I can tell, this wasn't a randomized control study, and in my book that design ranks above large retrospective cohort studies that draw on health data from big databases.
