I’ve been using GLP for 2 years now. Down 75 lbs, with another 30-35 lbs left before I’m done. Over the past year my progress has slowed a lot. These days I’m lucky to drop 1/2 lb/month. There have been multiple stalls and some months with zero loss. On the plus side, I’ve clearly put on muscle! My body is in a place I’m content with, and I like the direction things are heading. Now I want to shed this final bit and reach my goal. BMI sits at 30 right now.

My tirz supply will last another 3 months. I recently began stacking cagri, hoping it would kick something into gear. 2 days ago I took 250mcg, and so far there’s been no change. How fast can I increase the dose? Tirz never gave me any sides, so I suspect Cagri will be the same for me. At the moment my tirz dose is 12.5mg every 6 days.

Is anyone else running this stack? I’ve also got some Reta on hand that I could switch to if this doesn’t pan out, but I’d rather finish my tirz first.

With cagri, I'd recommend caution—particularly when it's stacked on top of a solid tirz or reta dose, which appears to be the norm for most folks here. From my own experience, 0.5mg brings on mild nausea, and 0.75mg/w is clearly felt—unpleasant, though not awful—so the ceiling for me is 0.5/w (stacked with tirz15mg/reta5mg). Some people on this forum go as high as 1-2mg, but many stick closer to 0.5. Reactions vary wildly from person to person, yet the trend I notice with cagri here is fairly steady: most treat it as a low-dose add-on.

If 0.25mg gives you nothing at all, and you've allowed sufficient time for full absorption—at least 48-72 hours—then taking another 0.25 carries fairly little risk of serious side effects. A second small 0.25 dose is less likely to trigger problems than jumping to 0.5 as your next dose a week later. I doubt you can extrapolate from tirz's lack of side effects, since the two act on different receptor systems. Nausea and fatigue are the usual complaints here, but low doses in the 0.25-1mg range often seem to go down pretty easily.

Appreciate the info. I went ahead with another 0.25mg dose today, so we'll see how it goes. My tirz injection was scheduled for today as well, but I'm going to delay it until tomorrow and switch back to a 7-day interval now that cag is in the mix.

My current regimen is 12 Tirz, 6D; 4 Reta, 6D; and 2 Cagri, 6D — every one of them spaced out by 2 days.

When I first brought Cagrilintide in, weight loss wasn't really the goal. The reason was food noise — it wouldn't stop. Hunger was nonstop, and food occupied my thoughts constantly. Back then I was dropping roughly 2-3 lbs each month.

Once the Tirz/Cagri combo began to stall and weight loss had mostly flatlined, I introduced Reta. The Cagri starting point was .5mg/6D, and I held that dose for 2 months without increasing it. Side effects were absent, but weight loss barely budged, if at all. I moved up to 1mg, then 3 wks later went to 2mg. That 2mg dose has now been in place for 3 wks.

Across that 3 month stretch since Cagri was added, I've lost 12 more lbs. Returns are diminishing, though — this past week I've lost 0 lbs, and that's while running the 12/4/2 dose above.

At the higher doses some side effects have shown up, though I mostly chalk them up to the Tirz: tinnitus and allodynia. There may also be a bit of mild nausea or an upset stomach, which I figure could come from the Cagri. The nausea is quite slight. The allodynia, on the other hand, is not!

I'm about to start week 3 of Cagri. Last week I took .5mg, and I'm thinking about going up to 1mg this week. I haven't seen much of a difference — I've dropped .5lbs over the past 3 weeks.

Second week of Cagri alongside 12.5 Tirz here. The .25 starting dose did bring some appetite suppression, yet the scale hasn't really moved. I stacked it hoping to break a stall. Probably way too early for any real verdict. The cag hasn't caused any bad reactions.

Losing 12 lbs over 3 months is fantastic!! I shed weight at a crawl, so that would be a dream for me. What is your total so far?
After 8 months, I'm down 55lbs total: roughly 41 came off with Tirz by itself, and the other 14 arrived once Reta joined the Tirz. BMI went from 40 to 30, and my goal now is the high 20's.

While I was only on Tirz, the pounds came off almost effortlessly. Part of that was circumstance: my first stretch of Tirz happened at a far-off outpost with no alcohol allowed, where the available pastimes were lifting, DirecTv, and the Interwebz. Staying at 1,000 calories/day and hitting the gym was simple there.

Since this "plateau" hit, further loss has been a real fight. Plateau feels like the wrong word to me; I see it as the fresh homeostasis my body settled into at 12Tirz/6D. More titration would be needed to keep losing, but side effects blocked that route, which is what pushed me toward the Reta/Cagri experiment.

What caught me off guard was how little Reta plus Cagri changed things. Diminishing returns, I guess, following something like a natural logarithmic loss curve. There simply isn't much left to shed.

Really does seem a mixed bag. I've read plenty of accounts of it breaking a stall wide open, but just as many saying Meh, did nothing for me. Person to person, vendor to vendor, who knows. I've been stuck around nearly 50 pounds down after 6 months, and there's still a long way to go. If Cagri doesn't break it, I'll start titrating the Tirz higher — I'm on 12.5 every 6 days, and I'm not against going past 15 if that's what it takes.

There are still 30+ lbs I need to shed, and wow, they will not budge. Right now I'm taking 12.5mg every 6, and I'm thinking about bumping it to 15mg next week just to test the waters. Last year I ran 15mg and ended up hitting a wall that lasted 4 months. Up to this point, Cagri hasn't won me over.

Have you given tracking macros closely a shot, just to get a clear picture of where things stand? My guess is that my maintenance intake has dropped quite a bit by now, so any further loss would mean cutting more. That said, I might be off base. Counting calories has been a lifelong habit for me, yet these days I can only manage to keep it up for 7 days straight.

Hunger has clearly come back for me. I'm hoping cagri starts working before long. Next week I'll likely bump tirz up to 15mg, just to see what happens.

No scale available to me, and there's no telling how much butter went into the collard greens. Is that Prime Rib 10oz, or is it 14?

Where I'm stationed, it's a remote outpost, and chefs/cooks handle every meal. You just pick from the menu, 3 times a day. LoseIt is what I use to log, and I've done it religiously for 13 years without a break. Out here, though, it's all estimation.

Going up to 15 Tirz/6D — funny that you bring that up. That's exactly what I did this morning. The past month was 12Tirz, and the 4 months before that were 10Tirz. Now I'm weighing whether to bump my Reta/Cagri from 4 and 2 up to 6 and 3, or maybe 8 and 4.

It's been 12 hrs since the Tirz increase, and the effects are unmistakable. Plus side effects...

Should cagri not pan out after a fair trial, Elora could be a candidate to try next. Whether it helps in cases where cagri gave little response or brought side effects is not something anyone can say for sure right now, though on the whole it produced greater weight reduction.

My own mix is close to that: tirz 15, reta 6, cagri 0.5. None of the 3 can be pushed higher in my case, yet hunger control has held up reasonably well and has helped me keep a 55% weight loss. Rather than switch anything out, I brought in reta, since 15mg of tirz came with so few side effects that I did not want to risk losing that, even though some hunger remained.

It sounds as though tirz/cagri may be nearing what GLP drug technology can currently do for you, given that more weight is not coming off. Still, with no tirz side effects on your end, raising the dose remains an option, as does bringing in reta or replacing something with it. And staying at a BMI of 30 over the long haul is far, far healthier than a BMI of 40, even if landing short of the normal weight range after getting fairly close feels like a letdown.

That's great! I wish I could still feel it working like I used to. Definitely not the side effects, though. Tirz and sema have never given me any sides at all, so I've got that going for me.

Adding Reta makes me really nervous - honestly, I think part of me fears it just won't do anything for me.

Apologies if this came up before, but how fast did you move up on Cagri?

The thing that really scares me is the possibility that I've hit my ceiling and can't move any lower. Not reaching goal is a letdown. I'm only just below 200lbs! I'm glad about how much I've lost, but it's definitely a downer.

None of these drugs have ever given me side effects, so at least there's that. Perhaps my tirz dose just needs to go up.

Adding Reta, or switching over to it, makes me nervous - because if that fails too, I'd truly be out of options. I'm not ready to try elora at this point.

I went back through my records. For 2 months I stayed at 500mcg/6D of Cagri, after which I moved up to 1mg/6D. A further 3 wks passed before I stepped up to 2mg/6D.

There was no particular plan behind those first 2 months. Things got hectic for me, so I left the peptide schedule running on autopilot. My intention had been to raise it earlier, but it slipped my mind.

Regarding side effects, here is something worth noting. I came across information recently explaining that dysesthesia and allodynia are not the same thing. During my earlier tries at reaching 10mg Tirz, I experienced allodynia across my arms. I went back up to 10 and stayed there 14 weeks, then moved to 12. I spent one month at 12 before this most recent jump to 15mg/6D.

Wow! The dysesthesia hit hard! At 12mg I'd had allodynia, where a long sleeved shirt grazing the hair on my arm felt unpleasant. At 15 I get more of that same feeling, and it now covers my midsection too, plus removing the shirt doesn't put a stop to it. Going shirtless at work isn't an option for me either.

It's uncomfortable, but tolerable. This week I also intend to bump up both the Reta and the Cagri. Because of the Dysesthesia, I'm thinking about keeping the increase smaller, perhaps 4 to 6 rather than 8 for Reta, and 2 to 3 rather than 4 for the Cagri.
