I'm curious what people think about prefilled pens. I've come across Reta40 pens that include needles for $45, and the packaging looks a lot like brand-name Ozempic. My main concern is how well they'd hold up being shipped from China. The sellers say shipping is climate controlled, but I'm not convinced.

First, a GLP1 begins to degrade far faster as soon as it has been reconstituted, so I would rather get the powder, which keeps almost indefinitely until sterile BAC water is added.

Second, after reconstitution, vials are the safer choice for both storage and shipping. Pen cartridges are less ideal in that respect, though they are probably fine.

I already have plenty of pens of my own, and reconstituting and loading 2ml into a 3ml pen cartridge that I know is clean and fresh takes only a few minutes.
