Hey everyone,

I'm a 21M and I've been thinking about starting MOTS-c and wanted to get some opinions.

  • I've been on reta since April 13th.
  • I started at 330 lbs and I'm currently 275 lbs.
  • My goal is to get down to 250–260 lbs by the end of the year.
  • I do resistance training 5–6 days a week.
  • I feel like my weight loss has started to stall a little, and I'm looking for something that might help me keep progressing a bit faster while staying consistent with my training.
Would MOTS-c be a good addition at this point, or should I just stick with what I'm doing? Is it something you'd recommend based on my current progress?

I'd appreciate any advice from people who have experience with it. Thanks!

First question would be, what's you current dosage on Reta? And by "stall" do you mean weight loss went down or completely stopped? You cant expect a linear weight loss from beginning to end.

Tried a few vials, but noticed absolutely nothing different.

Even its most ardent proponents have a hard time explaining what they get from it...

Your mileage may differ, and it's worth a try.

As a famous guide says - "Mostly harmless"

Didn't work for me at all. I ran a couple cycles of it. I have heard that it doesnt work good for most people under 40 and im 34. I think the most important question to ask is what dose of reta are you on??

Younger people usually report little to nothing from this peptide. I’m 43 and plan on running it soon.

Have to agree with @Redz on this

This might be a good place to start

Also,

What is your nutrition plan, deficit, BMR etc..

Not sure Mots-c is a good add on if your looking to facilitate fat loss

I would suggest sticking with GLP1s in the beginning and only worrying about a stack at the last 10% of loss (only if needed).

At 21 you have many natural advantages

I'm in my 50's and it did absolutely nothing for me. For those that fell for the placebo effect of it, they'll go on about how it doesn't work if your DNA strands via the matrix 7.9 telomere complex are damaged blah blah blah. It's kind of hilarious.

I'm 42, started using it a week ago with reta. For me, it offsets the fatigue and brain fog from the titration of reta. I have noticed almost immediate (30 minutes) increase in energy, concentration and clarity. I split the dose and get through an entire day of activity with little to no fatigue. I have also noticed that if I take a short cat, 20-30 minutes, I no longer feel groggy upon waking.

Mostly gave me a very alert feeling and made me sweat like a crazy at the gym. And broke a stall for me. Broke the 250s. Now 243. Trying to make 239 by end of august or more
