On thepeptidelist.com, while I was hunting around for dosing and protocol details, I noticed they offer "Genetics Testing". Has anyone here gone through that test and then applied the results to figure out peptide dosing or to pick protocols? From what I can tell it looks like a single test you do once, and it might be useful for setting doses across different peptides. People constantly share how differently they respond to peptide doses, so I keep wondering whether this could remove part of the trial and error when judging how well something works. Their "Cohort" program also looks quite interesting...

Of course my main concern isn't the cost, it's having my DNA and genetic testing metrics sitting in some database, but the kind of data these projects could produce is fascinating.

If you want another perspective, I'd recommend looking up the enhanced man over on youtube. He runs various peptide cycles and then shares what happened, tying it back to his genetic test results. One of his videos can be found here

That's really interesting! I appreciate you sharing that link.

To me it's obvious that genetics have a huge influence on how well particular peptides and dosages work for each person. After all, these are essentially amino acids that occur naturally, and each individual makes and reacts to them in their own way. I doubt many of them work as well when the dosing is generic, the way it is with vitamins.

I'm with you on that — his content about mitochondria is quite interesting, and I've watched a number of his videos on the subject.

That's the exact reason I haven't gone ahead.

A few DNA kits came to me as presents, and they've just been sitting there. The company behind them folded, and during bankruptcy the 🧬 DNA information ended up being sold at auction.
