The "Young George Washington" movie

Your post was really well thought out. At the start, the connections weren't obvious to me. Reading it was enjoyable and gave me something to think about.

I won't be watching this one. The studio making it isn't getting my money.
@Texan509 Writing off a whole film just because of the studio logo that appears at the beginning is a case of missing the forest for the trees. Whoever distributed it, the parallel holds: the grit, discipline, and strategic self-improvement of young Washington reflect precisely the mindset a health and peptide journey demands. It's unfortunate when personal bias shuts you out of a compelling story about rising above the lottery of birth and the resilience success requires.

What bothers me more is evaluating art only by the studio that made it. That locks you into a cultural echo chamber. Angel Studios has put its weight behind some remarkably original, high-quality projects that Hollywood refuses to touch. Boycotting a film without looking, instead of grappling with the actual narrative or the analogy I shared, is simply lazy criticism.

Spoiler warning: This same studio is putting out a movie this Thanksgiving about the rags-to-riches tale that grew from Milton Hershey's dream of bringing chocolate within reach of the working class, and how Hershey turned his fortune into philanthropy. Hollywood turned the script down.
