Here's my take....Don't pin both on the same day.....Yep, Sunday night for your Reta is totally fine...and Thursday morning for your Tirz....That plan is solid and it makes plenty of sense....Go for it!....sheilarae74 said:
I keep going back and forth on the best way to introduce tirz into my reta routine. At the moment I'm in maintenance, and I've tapered down to 3mg every 3.5 days. My plan is to keep reducing it gradually until the hunger returns, and that's when I'll begin adding tirz. Ideally, I'd like the tirz to end up being the larger part of my stack compared to reta. But I have to wait and see how tirz treats me. Fingers crossed my impulsive side behaves.
And then doubt creeps in. What's the right way to bring in the tirz? Should it go on the same day as the reta? Would I pin reta on Sunday night and tirz on Thursday morning? So I end up digging through the forum all over again, exactly like I've already done 30 times.![]()
Nothing in the research points clearly in either direction, but if it were me, I'd separate the doses — reta on one day, then tirz 3.5 days afterward. Whatever else happens, at minimum you'll get a clear sense of how each individual shot affects you. And should a vial turn out to be bad, you'll be able to tell which one it was.sheilarae74 said:

This holds true for every medication. The way a drug hits one person can differ from how it hits the next, with some feeling stronger or weaker effects. That variation can show up across whole populations, or it can be limited to particular individuals. Take the finding that people with red hair tend to need more local anesthetic than others do.Riviera said:
Most of the time it has nothing to do with glp1s...more of a general peps thing....for instance, why does a particular pep barely do anything for Me while it hits other people hard...
I keep using BAC until the vial is empty, and how long it lasts really comes down to which peptide it is. Reta is the only one I use, and after Peppy's ran that study I'll now stretch it to 12 weeks. Before that I stopped at 10 weeks, and I never once made it to 8 weeks. On Friday I'm starting my wife on Tirz alongside her Reta. At 2.5 mg/week, the R30 will cover her for 12 weeks. We'll see how it goes.plant_lady said:
Mostly about gray-area hygiene practices. Specifically: once a peptide has been reconstituted, how many days is it still good to use, what's the ideal way to store it for both short and long stretches, bac water, and so on.
Thanks. When my initial 3 month supply of compound Tirz arrived, it was all in 1 vial. That got me thinking: who came up with the 30 day rule that applies once a vial has been reconstituted? Wishing your wife the best as she continues her Tirz journeyBNLFL said:

Honestly!!!!! I once tried a "conservative" blend drawn from whatever protocols I could dig up (so 10 days, 1mg per day), and it seemed to do the job, though I noticed it fading pretty quickly afterward. For a stretch there it was bliss, truly. A full kit just landed with me, and my plan is to push the dose up. I can't wait to see those same results come around again, which would let me run 2-3x cycles each year.AriaKbye said:
Even on my way out of this world, the thing I'd still be hunting for is the answer to: what's the correct Epithalon protocol?
(Not glp related, I know, but still!)
What I want to know: can I put two peps into one vial and still count on there being no degradation!maayws said:

It's great that the experiment got patient approval. I'm eager to see your study's results posted in this community.BNLFL said:

Probably recommendations for where to source for medical facilities. Research indicates Tirz holds up longer than Reta, though that difference appears to be narrowing. If you don't mind me asking, what did you pay for compounded product?plant_lady said:

Appreciate it, friend. I hope it gets her going again. Tomorrow she's due for 2.5mg Tirz, and Friday she still gets 12mg Reta. I'm considering dialing the Reta back somewhat, but I believe @woundcarping said to stay at 12mg.Seasonal1 said:

I never reduced my dose. Right now I'm on just 2.5mg of Tirz, and as of last week I raised my Reta to 24mg/week for SAG.
OrderlyMeds charged $449 (2.5mg for 4 weeks, 5mg for 4 weeks and 7.5 mg for 4 weeks). Then, when the time came to renew for the following month, the price they quoted me was $249 (10mg for 4 weeks).BNLFL said:
